  • Awesome build! Any gardener would love to have something like this. It looks like it can even double as a potting bench with all that storage space underneath.

  • Wow! That 3-D effect is stunning! This is truly a work of art. One of your best pieces yet! (Find ourselves saying that a lot lately! ha ha!)

    • Thanks!!..I just felt like sharing this method to anyone who thought on making a flag. It's cheap and fairly easy to do. The 3D wave really makes it come to life. Once I made this flag, I no longer plan to make the flat traditional wooden flags, that I've made in the past.

  • Would you ever consider making one of these flags for someone to purchase?
By Tkup, on January 21, 2018

  • What are the dimensions of your flag?
    By AJNelson22, on July 25, 2018
    • 24"x40"
By fEzZ, on July 26, 2018

  • Sorry if this question's been answered already. Are you selling these by any chance? If so, how much are they? And how can I go about possibly ordering one?
By Khamilton, on August 13, 2018 (edited)
    • These usually sell for $190... Not including shipping....you can always contact me at fxexzxz@aol.com

  • Do you have plans for this project?
By kronicmib, on October 30, 2018
    • Sorry I don't. It was a build as you go, type of project. Hopefully the pictures and description can help you out.  :)

  • I understand, can you tell me the overall measurement (length & width) and the dimensions of the star area. Thanks
By kronicmib, on November 3, 2018
    • Well I cut the stripes down to be 1 3/4" thick. Which will make your flag 22 3/4" tall overall, and I made them 40" long. So the flag is 22 3/4" x 40". As for the field/star area, it would end up being 12 1/4" high X however long you want to make it. I always based that measurement off of preference. Whatever you think it would look best for you. Then I would make a stencil for the stars, trace them on, then carve out with a dremel tool.

  • What a great dual-purpose idea! You'll have plenty of planting space once this entire fence is constructed. Love the look of the cedar planks too- how cool that you milled these yourself!
