  • Awesome work! Your finish looks perfect- very stylish. Congrats on the great new doggy digs!

  • Beautiful! You picked the perfect design for the space. Nice job on that finish too- gorgeous!
By RYOBI Nation, on April 17, 2017
    • Thanks you! The finish was a pain. First I stained it English chestnut by minwax and it was too red, so I white washed it and over did it so then I selectively stain Jacobean over the whitewash to tone it down. I am now happy with the finish, thanks.

  • Very smart to do a test run with a sheet! That's a tip you can take to the bank. This turned out great and the next 3 will be even easier. Great job!

  • Love this! Very cool way to use available materials. Your finish is great- awesome job on the distressed look.

    • Thanks this was fun and super easy. I think I'm going to make a few as teacher gifts for end of the year.

  • This is great! It looks like it'll make a great desk space too. Love the dual-function design!
By RYOBI Nation, on April 17, 2017
    • Thanks a lot, i appreciate it! I am glad you like it. It makes me feel like I'm not doing too bad.

  • Looks great! Do they climb on the desk to get to the top? My daughter would like a loft and I love the simplicity of this one - especially because I'll be the one to build it!

    • Yes. My son can simply climb on top of the platform. Originally I was going to add a small staircase, or a ladder on the end. My personal favorite thing to do is to see a plan like this one, then customize it to whatever comes to my mind. Like adding additional supports because it is going to sway. But it is an awesome bed. Good Luck! You can do it no problem. And let me know if any questions come up along the way.

  • This is such a cool idea! How neat that you can stack them, or have them side by side. Very cool build. Thanks for sharing!

    • Thanks again for the feedback! It has definitely proven to be useful. Another may be added next to it soon even.
