  • This is so nice and clean! Really great job on this build! What was your favorite part of building this?
By RYOBI NATION, on June 14, 2018
    • Thank you so much! This was a really challenging build for me personally but I pushed myself to make sure it was exactly what I wanted it to be. I would say my favorite part of building this was putting the face frame and doors on — they are built separately and you don’t really get an accurate feel for the piece until you’re almost done.

  • I really like this piece. For your first attempt at a cabinet, I’m super impressed!

    • Thank you so much! The inset doors definitely kicked my butt lol but it was completely worth it in the end!

  • Absolutely gorgeous

  • Awesome job building this deck from the ground up! What was most difficult about this project?
By RYOBI NATION, on June 14, 2018
    • Thanks! Hardest I'd say was getting the stringers right for the steps. Overall It came out great. Going to stain it after a few more weeks.

  • Really nice build! How tall is this?
By RYOBI NATION, on June 14, 2018
    • Thank you!! This is 84" tall. I am only 5'2" so when I stood it up after building it, it towered over me!

    • I have a question, I don't see this project on the entries page of the Shanty 2 Chic contest page and I entered the contest! Hopefully you can help, I would love to win this :)
By OliviaMoyer, on June 17, 2018
    • Hi, Olivia! If you want your project to appear under the contest you'll need to go to this project in your account and select that you'd like to edit it. In one of the last steps you'll see a drop down category where you can list it as "Inspired by- Shanty 2 Chic". Once you select this, the project will be approved by us and you'll find it under the contest!
