  • It looks wonderful and the color is awesome!!
By RYOBI NATION, on August 6, 2018
    • Thanks! My wife painted it for me, haha.
By Big daddy T, on August 6, 2018

  • Beautiful. Did you stain it and then use chalk paint?
By kyleepete, on August 6, 2018
    • Thank you!  It was painted with an acrylic and then had a Brown glaze brushed on and wiped off, and accented with oil based "rub and buff" to give the gold accents.

  • This piece is absolutely on point!! Lots of skill, patience and love went into the making of this! The Nature Boy gives it a ‘Woooo’!!

  • Awesome entertainment console.   It really looks great.   Congratulations on your win!
I also won for August with my project.  I hate to bother you, but have you been contacted about the prize? I'm new to the ryobi nation and am unsure how long it takes.
By cvfraser, on September 17, 2018
    • Thanks and congrats to you as well! I had to get in touch with Ryobi, because I too was curious with how long it was taking to get notified, and they told me within a few business days they would email me with more info on the prize stuff. That would make it today or tomorrow that they should get in touch with you.

    • Thanks! I've been feeling like my kids at Christmas time.  Haha.  I appreciate you getting back.  Your entertainment console really is cool. Sorry i cheapened the comment with the question.

  • What an impressive project! What was most challenging?
By RYOBI NATION, on August 7, 2018
    • Thanks! The most challenging part was mounting the hilt onto the sword. At the present moment I do not have a wielder. So I finally got it to glue on for right now.

  • Is it sharp? Do you make hunting or fishing knives? Very cool!
By Handsfullofcgs, on August 22, 2018
    • I mainly make specially designed knives. The more iconic the better. ;)

  • Really awesome job! What was most challenging about this project?
By RYOBI NATION, on August 7, 2018

  • Most challenging part... figuring out the measurements of exactly how high the rail should be, and then the header board, and then how far it would stick out so we would know exactly how much to shave off of the chair rail.  This project did make me decide if we re-do our closets I will purchase a paint sprayer instead of trying to paint sides with a brush and flip it to do the other side.
