  • Wow! These look fantastic.  Each of the style pieces you chose look great together.  The table leg design is super cool.

    • Thanks, this table is one of my favorites we've done so far and I cant wait to do the next with the other two slabs from this log. I think we are going to go with copper colored legs and epoxy.

  • We're diggin' those legs!

  • The dinning table looks amazing.  No that the coffee table doesn't but I love the bow ties.  I have a couple boards that I have been saying I'm gonna do something with for too long now.  Mine are maple but I love your walnut.  Also, really like the legs.  Did you buy them locally or on-line?  I saw ones on Amazon that I was thinking of getting.

    • A fellow maker friend helped me put with the legs and we fabricated them locally specifically for the dimensions of this table. If your close to stl we could probably help you out. I would also highly recommend rubio monocoat 2c for hardwood finishing, its amazing stuff.

  • Wow! This is an impressive treehouse. What was the most challenging part of this build?
By RYOBI NATION, on July 5, 2018
    • The most challenging part was deciding whether or not we put a large branch "through" the treehouse OR build the treehouse around the branch.  I was concerned with waterproofing the branch if the branch went through the treehouse.  Although it would have been really cool to have a branch on the inside, We decided to recess that area of the house a bit to leave the branch on the outside and made it work by building a custom bench seat with storage underneath for outside toys, etc.  You can see the bench and the large Branch to the left of the front window and door.

  • Your tree house looks great!  Really like the use of the tabs and the yoke to connect it to the tree!
    By EJC5, on July 10, 2018
    • @EJC5  Thank You so much!  The Tabs are Garnier Limbs from Treehouses.com.  They worked GREAT for this project!
