  • Nice job cleaning up that wrought iron.  The first picture does a good job of showing what you did to it.  The epoxy looks amazing to.  I always say, happy wife, happy life.  I bet she's happy with this.

    • Thank you. I rigged up a sandblaster and a wire wheel on an angle grinder. She is happy!

  • This is beautiful! How did you attach the legs?
By RYOBI NATION, on September 5, 2018
    • Just drilled holes in the base so I could put screws in. I did run into the slab being a bit warped so I had to shim under one corner.

  • This turned out beautiful! What type of wood did you use?
By RYOBI NATION, on September 5, 2018
    • Mostly pressure treated for the frame, and then up-cycled some bamboo flooring. 3/4” plywood for walls and roof. Bear exterior paint that I had leftover from out house getting painted recently.

  • Awesome job! I like the way you used scrapwood to make something usable. Are you making the cushions yourself?
By Octracefan, on September 5, 2018

  • That looks like it will be very comfortable when the cushions are on it . Very cool design.
