  • Looks like you have it organized pretty well! It looks great!

    • It just needs more green!
By FirehouseCreationsGA, on May 21, 2018
    • We won't disagree with that! ;)

    • Who could? I've started rounding over all the edges with a trim router just to give them more of a finished look. A cordless is definitely my next purchase. Hopefully an upcoming Tool Tuesday will have one in it. Thank you guys for the kind words, the support, and most of all the awesome tools!

  • This looks awesome! How did you add the logo? Is it vinyl or engraved?
By RYOBI NATION, on May 22, 2018
    • Thank you! It's painted. I use a vinyl cutter to make a stencil then paint the design on. That way I never have to worry about vinyl fading or peeling.

    • That's a great way to make sure it looks perfect and never comes off!!

  • What a great job on your first build! What was your favorite part of this project?
By RYOBI NATION, on May 22, 2018
    • My favorite part was the satisfaction of the build upon its completion and the reward of my wife’s smile.  Thank you for asking!

    • That's truly the best feeling!
By RYOBI NATION, on May 22, 2018

  • Great job! 👍 Do you suddenly have a build list from your wife? 😁
By kyleepete, on May 25, 2018
    • Thanks kyleepete for the comment.  Yes I do, I feel now it will be never ending.  However money is not and have to budget tools/materials!  They get expensive if you have very little, just starting.  Next up though is the Shanty 2 Chic Barn Door Bedside Table with Wall Sconce and Barn Door Headboard Bed to match.  Eventually I would like to make the Barn Door Entertainment Center.  😉

    • I know what you mean. I have a build list a mile long because even though it's cheaper to build, I have a budget to stick to. I've slowly been building my tools the past couple of years. I also have a list of tools I want that's a mile long! Ha For my first build all I had was a drill! I borrowed my neighbors Kreg jig.

    • I wish you the best kyleepete in all your builds and tool wish list!  It really is a good feeling when you see something come together and look even better than on paper.

  • Beautiful! Is the wood going to be painted or will it stay the natural color?
