  • Do you ever look at another persons shop and think,"I wish I had that shop."  Or are you just always like, "Nah, my shop is better." I love it!
By coybeast, on May 18, 2018
    • I do look at other people shops and copy ideas to make mine better, and yes I do wish mine was bigger.

  •  Nice, I am envious you have so space to work with!

  • The shelf with the slots to hang each tool from is genius! I’m probably going to steal it from you... Thanks for posting it! 👍🏻

  • What a great idea! Now he has tons of space for playing with legos! How did you attach the topper?
By RYOBI NATION, on May 16, 2018
    • Yes he does.  I attached the top using L brackets.  Decided to go with that instead of pocket holes because it's MDF.  I have to redo the Lego base plates because they are coming now after two years because I didn't glue them down properly.  I'm going to add a shelf in the middle while I'm at it.

  • This desk turned out so nicely! Which RYOBI tool was most helpful in creating this?
By RYOBI NATION, on May 16, 2018
    • The Brad nailer was the most helpful in creating this.  I also used the Ryobi corner cat sander and Ryobi 18V drill.

  • These look amazing! How many different color stains did you use? Or is it the same stain with different amounts of coats?
By RYOBI NATION, on May 16, 2018
    • Thank you so much for the kind compliment! I used 3 different stains. the dark was accomplished using a steel wool and vinegar solution that I made in my woodshop, the medium Brown  Was a mocha deck sealant and the light was a natural deck sealant

  • Such a fun build and perfect for a Mother's Day gift! Did you come up with this design yourself or have some inspiration for it?
By RYOBI NATION, on May 16, 2018
    • Thank you! A while back, I used plans from Shanty 2 Chic to make two planter boxes for my kids school auction project. I used that same idea to create these. Instead of using the pocket holes though, I used the 18v nailer and glue, which made for a much quicker build.
      My mom loved it too!

  • Nice job on this! It will definitely make a nice gift for your friends! Is this a black stain?
By RYOBI NATION, on May 16, 2018
    • Yep...MinWax - Ebony. “Customer” selection although I’m partial to the darker stains anyway...lol
      By xrcise02, on May 16, 2018
    • Does Ryobi sell a thickness planer? I’ve seen some reviews on YouTube from 2015 but haven’t seen anything recently listed on the product line.
      By xrcise02, on May 24, 2018
    • @zrcise02 We do not currently have one in our lineup.
