
Step 1. Prepare the drain opening.
Remove the bathtub overflow cover or stopper to access the drain line.

Step 2. Manually feed the cable into the drain.
Before powering the tool, guide the cable by hand approximately 6 inches into the drain opening.

Step 3. Insert the battery and power the cable forward.
Set the 18V ONE+ 25' Drain Auger to forward and squeeze the trigger to advance the cable into the drain until resistance is felt.

Step 4. Work through the clog and retract the cable.
Continue advancing the cable slowly to break through the obstruction. Once the clog is loosened, switch the tool to reverse to begin retracting the cable.

Step 5. Switch to manual removal, remove the battery, and clean the cable.
Before fully removing the cable, switch the tool to manual operation, remove the battery, then pull the remaining cable out by hand and clean any debris from the snake.

Step 6. Test the drain.
Run water to confirm the bathtub is draining properly.
