Rated 5 out of 5 by Jkegs from Surprising benefit! When I bought these it wasbso that I could extend using my 18v blower and also be able to use my drill without having to worry about my charge. One day, not long after I purchased them, I was cleaning out my garage and came across a bag of old battery powered tools. They were at least 10 to 12 years old. I was surprised to see that they were also ryobi 18 v tools. I grabbed one of the new batteries and now I have working circular saw, reciprocating saw, drill and flashlight I hadnt been able to use, but was too lazy to throw away. They all work perfectly!

Rated 4 out of 5 by allyholl from Nice Backup - Don't last Very Long I bought these about a month ago in the hope that one could charge while I use the other in the dual-chemistry intelliport charger, but these batteries run out in about 20 minutes of use and take about 45 minutes for a full charge. So, depending on your use, you can end up needing to wait 15-20 minutes to have a free/charged battery again. Ended up buying a 4 Ah as well, so will be nice to have a longer one in addition to these two!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kylie from 2 pack because they die quick Good for small, craft like projects but not a good battery if you’re looking for something that lasts. Started blinking “defective” after only a few simple cuts on 3/4” plywood and 1x6s.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Essjay from Designed for men! I’m taller than the average female and have long fingers, but my hand span is too small to press the battery release buttons on either side with adequate strength. It is a real limitation of many tools that they are just a little too large for women to operate, and having to wait until I can find a man to take a battery off is a real limitation of these products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CJLewis from Small yet powerful I bought the two-pack of these compact batteries to run my Ryobi glue gun. The size and weight is perfect for the task. My only gripe is these don't have the power meter built in like the newer batteries do so you can't readily see if they need recharging.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mari from Unable to use!!!! We bought drill at Home Depot for Christmas present for my husband and we didn't open box to use until this month. Plugged in the battery and it just flashes red. What am I doing wrong? Brand new and can't use!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cjz2 from Great product I’ve bought a new Ryobi nail gun and I absolutely love it. It’s so much easier to fasten things and then go back and put your screws or whatever in before completion. I bought the 2 oak of 18v batteries and it was nice that they were already charged and ready to go to work for you. I still want to get either power saw or reciprocating saw and a good quality screw driver

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tharmon from Acceptable performance for the price I bought the because they were out of the larger batteries, and it has been a year since I last purchased batteries for my tools. I usually buy batteries during Ryobi Days on sale and pick up a free tool deal- Thanks Covid-19! These are great for short jobs, or when you need to do something overhead, smaller battery=lighter tool, or when the bigger battery gives out just before you are finished!
