My grass says thanks!
So where do I begin? Pricing?
Well for only 100 bucks a cordless weed trimmer, that was a good bargain.
Than product handling and weight.
Very very easy to use, buttons are a wonderful thing, I like how easy and user friendly it is to operate, none of this throwing out your shoulder just to start the device.
Weight, well its extremely light, I'm 31 and I feel I could use this if I'm 131.
Last thing I want to say is thanks, im happy with the product t, was happy with the warranty it came with.

Good and Bad
I had a battery that came with a power drill and after 2 months of use it will no longer charge. This is the reason for my low rating. I have tried to call the warranty line with ryobi I twice and sat so long I had to hang up. 30 minutes plus. I have since purchased other batteries and had a good experience with them. When they do work they last a for a good amount of time with moderate use.

mediocre battery without charge indicator
In my experience, these ryobi batteries are at a good price point, but tend to be short-lived and run down faster than others. they also have a tendency to go "bad", taking a limited charge or get deemed "defective" or unchargeable by the Ryobi smart chargers.
I always buy extra batteries because they all fit the Ryobi 18+ line of tools.
Only buy these small batteries if they are on sale or included in a kit. My preference is the 3AH and larger batteries.

So far, so good...
The last set of portable power tools that I owned are Craftsman C3 series of tools. I am not too heavy into owning a lot of tools but I have a few and at first, I was hesitant moving into another platform. But I wanted a tire inflator so I took the plunge. And so far, I am very impressed. I find myself constantly checking online sites for deals on Ryobi power tools. I think I maybe hooked!

Like other Ryobi batteries, too many early failure
One of the two 18V batteries failed after one use. I've found that Ryobi batteries, 18V or 40V, fail earlier than one should expect. They fail to charge and give charging errors. Still like the Ryobi products, but the battery fails are annoying. Ryobi Customer Service is good about replacing them, though. I STRONGLY recommend registering your products at ryobitools.com.

Awesome variety
I received 3 pieces for Christmas and I loved them. Since then I added more tools and the batteries hold a charge for a while. The fact that I have a new tool in seconds by just changing the battery is awesome. They are not to heavy and fit in my hands great, these are awesome and my next one is the 18 gage brad nailer. This is my first Ryobi set of tools and I am sold! I have converted to Ryobi and my craftsman bolt on is sitting on the shelf now.

Accept nothing less
The 1.5 Ah battery came with a kit, and it performs amazingly better over the 1.3 Ah battery. This seemingly small difference in rating significantly reduced my chances of overheating, and has extended my run time considerably. The 1.5 Ah battery should be the bare minimum at which you run a tool that requires more power than a flashlight.

battery review
i had purchased a battery operated screw driver / drill i was hesitant at first, but i wanted something easy for me to use, not gas operated that i would need assistance with. i couldn't believe how nice this worked, force of power long lasting...and i can actually say i used it, charged it, placed it without having to ask someones help. (i am a newly widow, all my husband had were gas operated or electric items, someone walked off with his electric screw driver,) so i needed one for me, light easy going,
