Rated 5 out of 5 by Dave454 from Nice Vacuum I bought this at the spur of the moment and glad I did so. I had a similar type vacuum that was 12V DC, meant to be used with a car's DC outlet, and it so did not meet my expectations. Seeing the Ryobi vacuum, I snatched it up. The 18V battery gives it a little more power and cleaning ability, plus I'm not restricted to using it just in the car. I've used it more around the house just to clean up little messes from all the little projects I've been working on where lugging out the household vacuum cleaner is a hassle. The only minor thing is that it does not vacuum up liquid. The 12V vacuum that I replaced with the Ryobi was wet/dry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ken G from Poor Customer Service Bought the hand held vacuum appx 18months ago. I have numerous one plus devices and have always been happy with the convenience and performance of the other tools. However, the vacuum recently couldn't be turned off, I had to remove the battery. I found another review relating to a faulty switch. Additionally the vacuum smells like it is burning up. Contacted the Ryobi customer service and they refused to offer any remedy without a receipt. They were given the serial number, etc, but still no help. After conducting some research it appears that similar problems have been noted by other customers. Overall, I have been pleased with my other Ryobi One Plus tools, but this experience has been unsatisfactory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AutoDetailer from Even better now I found an adapter Overall best hand vac I've ever had, so versatile with the 18V ONE+ battery system. On eBay, I found a universal adapter so I could add standard attachments. I can do what wasn't possible with the vacuum alone. Thinking of getting another to keep in the car.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ArbyD from A good improvement over the original I bought one of the original (blue) models of Ryobi's hand vacuums when they first became available and found it to be a competent tool for cleaning up light messes. It's major flaw to me was its filter system - it was awkward and prone to being discarded by accident. Based on the positive aspects of the original, I purchased this new version and have been very pleased with almost all of it. If I was to recommend an improvement, it would be to make the inlet larger so that leaves and other debris could be vacuumed up along with wood shavings and sawdust.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Todd64 from No Charge I bought the evercharge about 3 weeks ago and at first I thought this was one hell of a product. I had the evercharge on the charger for about 2 days then yesterday I took it off the charger was going to use it but never did in 8 hours that battery had totally drained and lost his charge. I don't think I've seen any battery lose its charge a quick having not been used and this was supposed to be it's strong suit. I don't know if this is an abnormality or if they're all like this but I've always liked Ryobi what this product leaves me wanting. Wanting to be able to use it that is.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wheelin willy from No more "tossing" batteries! My old hand vac died after three years. Because I couldn't replace the batteries, I was going to have to buy another entire device. Then I saw the Ryobi hand vac and realized I already had the batteries I needed from my other Ryobi tools. The vac is a bit noisy, but it works great, and I know I won't be throwing it away because of the batteries. The filter is really easy to clean too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Traincrazy from Boy does this vacuum s... This is an outstanding product. Very powerful vacuum. It's a very quick picker-upper. Great anywhere in the house, car, garage. Seems to have a lot of suction for a small unit. We have a 120v hand held that has no where near the power that this one has. The batteries last a long time before re-charging. Next time I am at Home Depot I plan to buy another one. This one never made it out of the kitchen so I still need on for my shop. Great for removing pesky insects from the ceiling too. Leaves no marks or residue like a fly swatter does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dale 93 from Vacuum Power Have had this tool for 6 monthsor more. Use for general clearup in kitchen, cars, and all around the house instead of dragging out the home vacuum. This is the best tool ever. It always has a full charge on the battery when it is needed. I plug it in for 10 minuntes after use and it holds the charge til next time. My wife loves it too for cleaning the kitchen after dinner. It is light weight and well balanced. It is easy to clean canaster with touch of botton and dump. Everyone should have this tool !
