Rated 4 out of 5 by Chivalryx from Light weight, works well I've been wanting a table saw to make more accurate cuts than my Ryobi circular saw. This unit is pretty portable, and not too heavy to port around. I like the safety features (riving knife, guard if needed, ability to lock the power button). The surface of my unit wasn't perfectly flat. To make it light weight, they used sheet metal, which buckles a little with fasteners. Also the fence isn't always easy to ensure it is perpedicular to the blade as it doesn't slide smoothly on both ends. It takes a bit of work to ensure it's straight. Otherwise I find the unit to be very usable for a DIY level unit. If I were a contractor it isn't nearly as precise and robust as it could be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Moose3 from Good Price, Good Product I have been using the table saw for rip cuts, cross cuts, and different joinery cuts. I have been please with the performance so far. It has plenty of power for my needs. My only complaint is the blade marks it leaves on edges, but that may be a user issue or maybe it just needs a better blade. Still a great product, especially for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Thefroats from Ok..fence is wobble and 1 miter slot I just started wood working and thought I'd start small with this saw..it is what it is..I like it cause its light and for its price is powerful and convenient..but as I get better I realize it's downfalls.. the fence is wobbly.. and hard to align..only one miter slot and it is a off measurement to get tacks etc for jigs..but also for the price it does it job..im happy and happy to start out on a small saw but same token for all the good as I learn and do more I wish I spent more in the better model

Rated 5 out of 5 by EGCC from Compact enough for relocation, but powerful enough I am just embarking on a trip with my toy hauler trailer. I have a need to work with my hands so I build dollhouses to give away. I've installed work benches in the back of my toy hauler so I can pursue my hobby while traveling. The saw makes it possible to have a much needed tool for work. I can set it up on work bench, do some work, and place it in storage area until I need it. Great addition to my many 18V cordless tools I use all the time, whether at home or on the road.

Rated 2 out of 5 by dacrst01 from Disappointed I recently bought an 8.25" table saw, model RTS08. Your list of required tools on page 13 did not include 4mm Allen wrench that is required to set blade stops. Why isn't the table saw set up and calibrated at the factory? I happen to be a Mechanic and a do-it-your-selfer, but most home consumers would not have a micrometer required to set up the straightness and squareness of the blade.

Rated 4 out of 5 by amnptcga from Great home workshop tool Just starting out setting up home workshop. Bought for specific project and really helped success of project. Biggest con is the rip fence. Once installed & locked you must double check measurements, front and back, before each cut. The fence does not lock square.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jpd43 from Just what I needed (wanted)! I was going to make a shoji screen for a statement wall and wanted it to be easy. I was able to make a nice sturdy frame, glue on the paper and then using the table saw made strips that I then stained and waxed to make the little windows. It came out nice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Ideal for the Hobbyist or DIYer This is my first table saw as I am a DIY person but a neophyte to woodworking. I was a little intimidated with using it; but from my other Ryobi tools, I knew it would be very intuitive to learn. This is an entry level tool, not something that a Pro would use 8 hours a day on large scale products. That said: you hobbyists and DIYers like me would be hard-pressed to find a table saw this good and with all of the features you need for this price. Value, Quality, Practicality, and Ease of Use make this Ryobi tool a must-have for your garage or basement workshop.
