Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy Grandma from Perfect little saw I'm very happy with it. I just did 1/2" laminate, about 300 square feet so far. This saw cut the 7 1/2" planks easily. It has a handle to carry it with one hand. I'm doing baseboard now and, of course, it's not letting me down. This will be my carry around saw from now on and maybe I'll get a big shop one after I buy my next fixer. PS: I'm a 74 years old female who works completely alone. If I want a tool, I buy it. I don't like it because it's stupid or it's too heavy, I return it. I love tools and and they will have to rip this saw out of my cold dead hands unless I can be cremated with it. You can't not like this miter saw unless you've got something wrong with you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DJKVirginia from Perfect for molding jobs around the house I've had this saw for about a year purchased from Home Depot (my model number says TSS701 rather than 702, but the manual posted here says 701, so much not be much difference). I find it very accurate and easy to use. I did change blade to a 60 tooth Diablo that I would also strongly recommend if you want really smooth cuts. Have used it for several inside and outside home projects that require miter cuts. I'm an old timer who used and suffered through a miter box for many years....wish I had had this beautiful saw earlier....it really eases accurate small jobs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sh23jk from Loving It I brought this to do baseboards and was awesome. I had been cutting them with a hand mitre box and when I say my arms got a work out - they ached something awful at the end of each day. This mitre saw definitely safed the project as I was about to give up. Just happened to be walking through Home Depot and I think it called out to me. No regrets - was a little timid at first - but soon had the hang of it and project was completed in half the time would have taken. Highly recommend this saw for home improvement and furniture projects. Looking now for another project to use it with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rj Clintontownship from Excelent for it's Size! I bought this saw so I no longer needed to run up and down the stairs, to my 12 inch miter saw. For its size, and what its capacity is, this is a great little saw. Plus the carry handle, and like the 18 pound weight, allows me to carry the saw to any work area in my home. Read your manual, and verify all your adjustments, and this little Ryobi monster will not let you down!

Rated 4 out of 5 by sanyesz84 from What you would expect for the price I like it. It has a few shortfalls but in general it does what it supposed to. We use it to cut wood and plastic trims and works perfectly. The only one thing that was annoying is that we had to cut a fascia board once and that board was wider than the blade. Since the head is not sliding I had to use a reciprocating saw so it was not perfect. If you know you are going to cut wide boards get the one with the sliding head, otherwise it is a decent tool for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Doc2nd2 from Little lazer miter saw I bought this for cutting trim and molding. It’s so much easier to haul around than my sliding compound miter saw. My only problem is that rotating the miter table from detent to detent is very tight. If the saw isn’t secured to a work surface it takes two hands. All in all I love this little critter!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gbs74 from Very happy with the Saw but had minor issue I received this for a gift, and finally was able to break it out while doing deck repairs. It worked great. The only issue I had is the zipper on the dust bag broke the first time I unzipped it to dump out the dust. I will need to replace the dust bag or zipper if I want to use it more frequently.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Herbie from convenient for the price it's small for sure, so very handy for trim work. I use a Diablo blade, though, just to be sure. The main issue I have is that the lever-style knobs are difficult to turn and adjust. But since I don't need to adjust all that often, its fine.
