Discontinued 24v Li battery
This has rendered my hedge clippers, weed trimmer and charging base totally worthless! I would run from Ryobi. To have to toss this perfectly good equipment because they decided to stop manufacturing a battery is inexcusable. And yes, "Did you save your receipts from 5 years ago?". Really....I would need to build an addition to my house to keep every receipt for every purchase. This will definitely steer me away from Ryobi. They should at least have the courtesy of making arrangements for disposal! Lower scores are because tools now useless without battery.

Light weight! Perfect trimmer ever I had!!
I have been using corded trimmer for long time. I really wanted switch to the cordless since I end up cutting the electric extension cord many times. but I’m 5’1” tall woman and the most cordless trimmer was too heavy for me. Then finally I tried this Ryobi 18v trimmer after cutting another electric cord. I love this trimmer. I wish I had this long time ago. It’s light weight and much quieter than last one and cut so sharp! Very handy and easy to use.It’s perfect! Nothing to complain about. Highly recommended.

22-inch cutting path and ¾ inch wide branch cutting. This is an excellent cord free hedge cutter. I didn’t realize how great it is as a cord-free tool. Best reason for cord free. There is a vertical bar to help push off hedge cutting debris. The Handle/motor is smooth designed and easy to hold and fairly lightweight. Both sets of the blades move to reduce the overall motion. The bottom has bolt heads that are fixed to allow the blades to float both directions. Almost like a counter balance to reduce vibration. The last 4 blades (at the tip ) are just a little shorter to get into tight spaces. Excellent idea. There is a blade guard for when not in use. The charger has indicators to tell how long to charge and it charges the 2.0 a hr battery pretty fast. Battery power lasts for all of my bushes on a single charge. Extra batteries are available for longer days. Really plenty of power.

Great Hedge Trimmer
I purchased this trimmer at Home Depot a few days ago and used today to trim some shrubs and hedges around the house. I found it to be a very capable trimmer that could take care of my needs around the house.

Convenient
I bought this about a month ago. Used it the first time yesterday. Verlight and easy to use. Cuts well. Only complaint is that it kept getting stuck in the on position even after releasing the trigger

Clean Sweep
Finally my hedges are even! I used to do it, unevenly, by hand, but now I am able to do straight lines with ease. No cords to tangle or trip me again !

Easy and Convenient to Use
This trimmer is easy to use and lightweight enough to do a lot of homeowner trimming. Sure beats dragging an extension cord around the yard!
