Product delivers exactly as described
I bought this recently and was actually surprised at how well it worked using my 1.5 amp hour battery. The saw struggles with anything bigger than a 2x4 but it’s not designed to do anything bigger so I’m still very happy to have it. Works great for base boards, door casings, hobby projects like bird houses and other small finishing carpentry projects. It’s pretty light weight and very compact. I highly recommend this saw for anyone with light duty projects. And again, it lasted surprisingly long on the smallest battery that they offer.

compact, quiet, perfect for trim work or 2x4s
I have been wanting a small cordless miter saw since borrowing a friends a few years ago on a rehab project. I did all my shoe moulding with ease, and taking the saw room to room rather than up and down the stairs to the big saw. Finally got this Ryobi and have been very pleased, though I do wish it could get through a 1x6 in one pass. I'm about to trim my own kitchen renovation, and look forward to using this saw a lot. It's also great to throw in the car to do touch-up work at other properties.

Lightweight
I bought this a month ago and it has been a great addition to my garage shop. It helped speed up the process of my current project. I used it to build the side railings of this DIY Playground. Check out my IG for the whole process @aldanabuilds

Why I needed the small saw!
I needed a small saw to carry to the job site. This 7 1/4 mitre saw fit the bill. It is easy to carry and preforms well. I am not having to lug my 10" or 12" around and as I get younger it is easier on my back!!

i got them to use at home but know I use them at w
I couldn't be happier. the tools are great to move around a large property. I dont have to worry about extension cords any more . the long life on the one battery is great when Im working by the back shed or the pond. not to mention I dont have to woorry about electrical hazards . As a bonus I also save time not having to run extedion cords then pick them up again. Im enjoying taking care of my "honey do" list. My wife is happier too.

Just what I expected, great saw
This is exactly the saw I wanted. Compact, lightweight, cordless, accurate, straightforward. It's great. All things being equal, I would have been happier if it had just a little more reach -- a short slide would have let me cut more of the stock I use. But I didn't want to move up to the larger sliding models because they were too much bigger and heavier. As a small-stock miter/chop saw this really does the job.
