Rated 5 out of 5 by Dave454 from Nice Vacuum I bought this at the spur of the moment and glad I did so. I had a similar type vacuum that was 12V DC, meant to be used with a car's DC outlet, and it so did not meet my expectations. Seeing the Ryobi vacuum, I snatched it up. The 18V battery gives it a little more power and cleaning ability, plus I'm not restricted to using it just in the car. I've used it more around the house just to clean up little messes from all the little projects I've been working on where lugging out the household vacuum cleaner is a hassle. The only minor thing is that it does not vacuum up liquid. The 12V vacuum that I replaced with the Ryobi was wet/dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AutoDetailer from Even better now I found an adapter Overall best hand vac I've ever had, so versatile with the 18V ONE+ battery system. On eBay, I found a universal adapter so I could add standard attachments. I can do what wasn't possible with the vacuum alone. Thinking of getting another to keep in the car.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ArbyD from A good improvement over the original I bought one of the original (blue) models of Ryobi's hand vacuums when they first became available and found it to be a competent tool for cleaning up light messes. It's major flaw to me was its filter system - it was awkward and prone to being discarded by accident. Based on the positive aspects of the original, I purchased this new version and have been very pleased with almost all of it. If I was to recommend an improvement, it would be to make the inlet larger so that leaves and other debris could be vacuumed up along with wood shavings and sawdust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Traincrazy from Boy does this vacuum s... This is an outstanding product. Very powerful vacuum. It's a very quick picker-upper. Great anywhere in the house, car, garage. Seems to have a lot of suction for a small unit. We have a 120v hand held that has no where near the power that this one has. The batteries last a long time before re-charging. Next time I am at Home Depot I plan to buy another one. This one never made it out of the kitchen so I still need on for my shop. Great for removing pesky insects from the ceiling too. Leaves no marks or residue like a fly swatter does.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Todd64 from No Charge I bought the evercharge about 3 weeks ago and at first I thought this was one hell of a product. I had the evercharge on the charger for about 2 days then yesterday I took it off the charger was going to use it but never did in 8 hours that battery had totally drained and lost his charge. I don't think I've seen any battery lose its charge a quick having not been used and this was supposed to be it's strong suit. I don't know if this is an abnormality or if they're all like this but I've always liked Ryobi what this product leaves me wanting. Wanting to be able to use it that is.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wheelin willy from No more "tossing" batteries! My old hand vac died after three years. Because I couldn't replace the batteries, I was going to have to buy another entire device. Then I saw the Ryobi hand vac and realized I already had the batteries I needed from my other Ryobi tools. The vac is a bit noisy, but it works great, and I know I won't be throwing it away because of the batteries. The filter is really easy to clean too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Igor from Poor design. No customer support The battery is getting stuck. Really difficult to remove. I've exchanged it at the Home Depot and the replacement had the same issue. The HEPA filter is unnecessary and reduces the suction. I've called Ryobi regarding the battery removal problem and left my number for a call back. They never called. No customer support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by paws from Works Great I purchased this to clean my model train layout and work bench it works very well. When I was using it my wife said she wanted to try it to vacuum the stairs and after a while it was returned to me seems it worked well in other parts of the house. This vacuum comes with a crevice tool that stores under the pickup tube. The dual filters work well the mesh filter can be washed and the paper replaced when needed. Comes with a three year warranty and I can use my 18volt batteries from my other Ryobi tools. This Works For Us Home Depot Replacement paper filter part number model A32vc04 internet 204493476
