Rated 4 out of 5 by Shaggysan1 from Very handy little drill. I have used this drill quite a bit on my workbench for drilling small holes. I purchased it to use cause its light and works great on small projects. My heavier 18v unit was tiring to use repetitively on small stuff and took up a lot room on my bench. My only issue is when grabbing it and squeezing to trigger it doesn't always run right away. Sometimes I have to squeeze it twice. After the initial use it does usually go fine on the first pull. It could have something to do with pulling it right off the charger and using it. Otherwise it works very well and has never failed to be comfortable and easy to use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Wetbuoy from Below average Bought to use in tight areas on my boat. There was an annoying delay to the trigger. I did an exchange and #2 has the same problem. Also battery dies fast and the charger takes hours even for a top up charge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lil work horse from Amazing drill for the price. Beat my expectations I just retired this drill after 2 years. I work construction and bought it because it was light and compact to fit into my tool pouch. I bought it for the main purpose to turn screws for me to save my wrist. It did a lot more. I used it to drill holes. Used it with self tapping screws to drill into steel. Charge held for whole day under steady use. It does charge a bit slow. Only down side I found. Love this drill. Beyond and above what I had expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Linder from So handy and the battery lasts forever This checked all my boxes: cordless, LED, and good for tight spaces. Ryobi was recommended to me by a professional as a quality brand for a good price. I haven't had to recharge once in about 4 years of light use. I'm not any kind of DIYer, just someone who needs the occasional screwdriver or pilot hole, so anything more would be overkill. I have a larger, more powerful drill but I reach for this one every time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KRDE from Pleasantly surprised! I bought this tool to primarily be a power screwdriver but was pleasantly surprised to find out it can do much more. Has the power to drive screws flush or better in wood or sheetrock and the battery keeps its charge longer than most power screwdrivers. Takes a little longer to charge than I would like, but I bought it with a gift card and can't complain considering all its' positive features.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Elkaraki from Underpowered and Battery Drains Quickly I bought this about 1.5 yrs ago because I liked its light weight and thought 8V will give enough power for basic drilling and screwing. It's really weak and can't drive screws in light wood. Battery drains quickly. I wish I can return, maybe get bigger power next time and something with a driver. Still I expected this to drive screw for light to medium jobs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AlexD from Compact yet powerful! I bought this a few months ago and I'm glad I did. Not as bulky as the bigger drills, so it's great for getting into tight spots and yet still powerful to drill anything I need. Battery lasts awhile so no worries of it stopping before the job is done.
