Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheetmetalhero from Lots of power . Happy with another product from Ryobi again I must tell everybody who was involved in the recycling thought process again very little plastic the cardboard is what is recycled in our area where many other Plastics are not and as we know when the news what they think of Canadian garbage around the world. I have to say this SDS hammer drill did the drop on my basement I need it to drill holes in the concrete floor and put concrete screws in for my walls I think it'll make a great addition to my toolbox also the price what's more than reasonable thanks again to everyone involved in making that product from the beginning to the end

Rated 5 out of 5 by SirGuise from Awesome Power I had been struggling with a normal hammer drill that just wasn't cutting it. Even though the slab was fairly new, we just weren't getting the holes drilled. Decided to drop the $$ on the SDS rotary and couldn't be happier. The very first hole blasted through the 4" slab like nothing. After spending way to much time trying to drill these holes, the SDS took maybe 30 seconds. It was truly an awesome and time saving purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LarryF from Superb concrete drill I have used this drill commercially for drilling over 100 1/2" holes into hard concrete, and this drill has definitely performed like a champ. There is no comparison with a conventional hammer drill. The SDS plus feature really works!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by LCDR USNA 77 from Serious Tool for Smaller DYI Masonry Jobs I bought this tool to drill thru block walls and install outdoor electrical outlets opposite indoor outlets. First turn the power is off and remove the inside outlet. Move the wires out of the way and drill a hole thru the slug at the back of the box so that it can be forced out. The P222 with a long 3/16 inch SDS bit goes thru from inside to outside like butter and doesn’t punch out a big scar in the stucco. You then easily drill successively larger holes from the outside in until a 1/2 inch PVC conduit nipple can just fit. The P222 with positive licking SDS bits lets you hammer drill with confidence with no fear of the bits vibrating loose as with a traditional Jacobs chuck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cilantro from Works Great I'm in the process of removing approximately 750 square feet of ceramic floor tile. My primary tool has been an electric rotary hammer drill and it has been doing a decent job. A friend lent me his Ryobi One+ Rotary Hammer and (after trying it for a while) I immediately went to Home Depot to pick one up. It is a lot lighter and more maneuverable then the plug in drill and is great for getting into the corners and close to the walls. It's also been great at chiseling out the thinset that remains on the floor once the tile is removed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mr C from Truly amazing! Really surprised at the great overall performance of this lightweight yet durable and very effective rotary hammer drill. Consistent power during the 4 1/2 hour ( ...followed by another 3 1/2 hour) marathon use on its first jobsite test. Well worth the money !!! I’m very impressed with the Ryobi line of tools.... they are an amazing value, and get the job done .
