Rated 5 out of 5 by cdaron from Any Woman Can Handle This! I bought this a few months ago, because I needed some type of saw! It was either this or a chain saw and this seemed less intimidating! As a single woman I needed something to use to cut odd things, tree branches, nails, odd lumber. This tool fit the bill! First job was to cut a tree branch that partially snapped off. The branch was about 8 inch in diameter. With a nice coarse wood/metal blade it sliced through like butter! One cut and done! Loading the blade was simple. The tool doesn't vibrate as much as i thought it would. Lots of power for me. Comfortable to hang on to, and not to heavy, well balanced. Can't wait to find more things to cut!

Rated 5 out of 5 by TV Steve from Fantastic upgrade I build and maintain Mountain bike trails and the One+ system has become our go-to portable power option. Combined with a true pruning blade, this saw is incredible. The previous versions were adequate for the job but this version is a "do it all" tool. From trimming branches up to several inches, to cutting stumps at dirt level, and even plunge cutting roots under the dirt, this saw never gives up despite almost daily use for the last 6 months. The one shot trigger lock release is another great addition for the advanced user doing repetitive tasks. I can't wait to pair it with the next generation batteries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MikeD from Have Not Used It Yet! I bought the 3 Ah twin pack with charger and carrying case that was on sale for $99.99. Which included a free tool from the 18V ONE+ systems. I picked the Reciprocating Saw because I already have many of the tools in the series. Grass trimmer, leaf blower, pole saw, hedge trimmer, drills, impact driver, circular saw, grinder, flashlight with many 1.5 Ah batteries and chargers that came with them. I have not used it yet. I do expect to be using it soon. It sure is nice to be able grab the tool you need with out dragging an extension cord around with you. I gave 5 stars and will continue to buy tools from this series as I need them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rolomatic from The Beast Saw This saw has taken everything I've given it from small trees to partial demo on my deck to metal pipes. It's been a beast and my surprise favorite power tool since it arrived. I already had a corded reciprocating saw but going cordless here opened a world of possibilities. I have this paired with a Ryobi 4aH battery and I've never needed a second battery. The quick blade release is nice because you don't have to remove your gloves to get in there like you would on my classic corded saw. Another nice touch is the built in AntiVibe on the handle that helps as a shock absorber. All in all, this is a great value here especially if you can pick up the bare tool if you already have the Ryobi 18v batteries. I didn't expect it to get so much use but it's so versatile as long as you have a good assortment of blades for the task at hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mr xang from Own a good number of Ryobi tools. I have used this model for a few years now, along the 18v One + circular & jig saw. Both have performed flawlessly & without braking or braking the bank with replacements. The One + system is quite a big plus, pun intended; allowing me to exchange different types of tools according to the need or use intended. Thanks Ryobi, you are one of my favorite electric tool brands & believe me. I owned a ton of them. From your web site or the Wiki, I noticed that you also make press/printing equipment. 3D printers anytime soon?.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TonyAnto from Better without the cord! Almost a duplicate of my old Craftsman Sawzall (?) in size and weight. I was hoping it would be lighter. Maybe I should have bought the new compact model. But this is a great tool w/o having a cord to worry about.
