No more RYOBI 4 ME from
BEWARE!
I have got to have more Ryobi tools than anyone in the state if not the country. This purchase was not out of need but a want because i wanted to try out their new brushless line. Took it out of the box and i got slapped in the face by Ryobi going cheap on us by not including a hook for this thing. Oh this gets a little better. So coincidentally i just received a set of 2 hooks in the mail to put on one of my many other impact's that did come with the hook but it fell off and got lost so i figured ok ill get a couple of them for just in case. And it so happened to be the same day i get the new Brushless one. But the replacement hooks also came without any screws to fasten them to the impact. Wow, so cheap. Ryobi you are falling all over yourselves trying to make me go with another brand. I'm NOT A HAPPY CAMPER HERE AT ALL. . No doubt about it. This is utter pathetic nonsense!!!!!!!!! I WAS going to buy your new cordless band saw that I been begging Ryobi to make since they already own Milwaukee who offers one. Key word>>>WAS> Not now,,,I'm done. You folks finally got under my skin enough to send your stuff packing. DONE. And i see that a guy got a paddle bit stuck in the chuck. This tells me its time to bale out and thankfully we do have options.

Powers through jobs like its melted butter!!!
I spent over an hour at the big box store deciding which drill/driver would be the best fit for me. I was on a budget, but need a dependable tool. I not only would be using it around the house, but in classroom demonstrations as well as working as a boilermaker. The first time I used the driver to install blinds, the screws went in so easily it was litteraly like a hot knife through butter. It fit great in the palm of my hand, not busy and extremely light weight. I was pleasantly surprised. The bitts were also convenient to change.

Great driver the best ryobi one this far
I do trim work and have to see say the driver gets heavy after some time. Other than that great driver.

Multiple modes
Bought a couple weeks ago and built some garden beds. I’m sure it’s going to be capable of anything I put it through around my house and as a maintenance tech I’d feel comfortable using it at work. It’s a little bit heavier than my Makita but it’s more powerful too! Note that this HP brushless is only a little bigger than the compact one. The compact one is a bit less powerful... so it’s just a matter of what your needs and priorities are. Great driver!

Paddle bit is stuck in collet
The impact driver itself is very impressive, it almost kept up with my milwaukee gen 3. But there is a diablo paddle bit stuck in my collet and will not release. This happened while making a youtube review so it is documented. It's ashame because I really like the drill and spoke highly of it but I have to return it. Hopefully it was a one time thing but time will tell.
