18V ONE+ Compact Lithium-ion Battery is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 463.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plenty of Power! I bought a few Ryobi tools and a combo kit on sale this month. I have been vary please with the tools performance thus far. The supplied batteries are pretty good and the charger works well. But in todays standard of "Right Now" I bought a couple of the 4mah batteries and the quick (30 min.) charger boy what a difference the charger charges in less than 30 min. the larger batteries. And as advertised the larger batteries give the tools a little more ummph as well as the extended time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for lighter duty uses I own 5 of these p102 batteries some are a few years old and as long as you know there limitations they work fine. There only 1.3ah so if you intend on driving 300 4 inch deck screws this is not the battery for the job that's what the p108 is for (which I also own a few of). I use the p102s mostly for my radios or the lantern, flashlight and occasionally the drill if I only have to drill a few holes. For those purposes they are perfect light duty low power consumption devices. I try not to use them for my saws or jobplus or even the high output lights like the spot light and work light (which is awsome). That said I use them everyday in the 3 radios I own one in the garage one on the patio and one at work. These batteries have had thousands of charge cycles and still perform as good as can be expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long lasting I have 8 Li Ion and 1 NiCad batteries, all purchased in the past 5 years usually ina kit with a tool. Only 1 has 'died' on me. They have been used in all of my 18v One+ tools [reciprocating saws, miter saws, drills, sanders, oscillating tools and right angle drills, not to mention my hedge trimmer and weed eater The battery that died was due to my negligence, I had left it out in the weather after running it totally out of power instead of swapping it out when it was low on power.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value, great product I got my P102 batteries in a combo kit that i bought a little while back and to be honest for weight and light task it's a fantastic little battery. I do a lot of smaller projects around the house and these fit the bill perfectly and the charger i got (P118) charges them fairly quick (I'd say a half hour or so) and keeps it to where i can cycle them pretty consistently. All- for-all I'd say great value and can't go wrong in the end if you're looking for a solid light duty battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and lasts long enough to do the job Some people complained about short charge life, but i see no problem. I have 3 of these small packs and a 4ah ryobi battery pack and never worry about running out of juice. I rarely carry an extra pack because the tool can usually finish the job after I notice low power, and they charge very quickly. I just bought another set of tools as a housewarming gift for the family hosting me in Vietnam and the batteries came with enough charge that we could start using them right away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding battery life I bought this item about 7 months ago and it has outperformed my expectations. I use it for everything from woodwork to fence repair/replacement. Battery storage life is outstanding. Batteries had been stored for nearly 3 moths with no usage, needed to fix a chair leg the other day, put the battery in and it ran like it has just came off the charger. I am well pleased with my purchase and have since purchased additional Ryobi products (most recently the backpack leaf blower).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small and light weight works great for around the house tools. Never had one die on me in the middle of a project yet. Seems to last for whatever i need it for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible I used this battery twice, then it stopped holding a charge.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't charge I got a pair with a new power drill. Both stopped charging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lasts! My last one lasted over 5 years so quite happy with it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice unit I bought this so I would have 3 batteries to alternate between when I was cutting out letters in plywood for my Halloween Cemetery display. My Ryobi jigsaw uses these batteries up pretty rapidly, but I found if I had 3 batteries and 2 chargers, that I could cut almost continuously with little downtime. Had I realized how fast the jigsaw used up batteries, I probably would have bought a longer amp/hour battery. These work great in my drill and last a long time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Short life span I used this 4 times. It only lasts 20 minutes a a time. Then it stopped charging. Wasn't sure if it was the charger or the battery pack so I purchased both. Went to check it out and its definitely the battery not working. There have been no extreme temps or possibility of shorting it. Just a poor product. We'll see how long this next one lasts. There is no warranty stated on the battery, only the pack and customer service is closed on Saturday - no response!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick Charge time and overall decent life of batte This battery was part of a kit with the tool. I have several of these batteries (regular and extended life). All of them work well and interchanging them between several different tools is seamless. The chargers work well. Out of the seven batteries I have, one went bad and refused to charge. Response from Ryobi was to have it changed out at my local Home Depot (it was less than a year old). Process seems seamless, but I haven't exchanged it yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good reliable power. I have three such batter packs: One that came with my airless brad driver, another with my hybrid string trimmer/edger, and a third that I added as a back-up to each. Each one provides enough portable power for projects & jobs around the home..Although I've only had the brad driver since 2015, so far each battery pack has given me reliable service and charges up quickly in the 18V One+ Intelliport charger. I'm quite satisfied with the performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They go the distance! The reason I switched to Ryobi was because they keep the same battery shape making older tools as useful as the newest ones. The battery life is amazing and I like that I can choose a lighter weight battery for tools that I use overhead, and the heavier 4Ah for my saws and lights. One battery for the job site to DIY to yard work and then even camping. I am starting to see that my switch to lime green was a good investment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good batteries, but should last longer I have used Ryobi tools for years, however I find the batteries lose their ability to keep a charge after only a couple of years of light use. I use the for home use only and I have gone thru 6 lithium batteries. The biggest project I have done was build a deck and to go thru 6 batteries is a bit much for just home use. I have also found the chargers lose their ability to charge the batteries after a couple of years

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Battery and Product I bought this for a Fathers Day present from my wife to me. I have had many battery operating tools in the past but have always been disappointed in there performance after a while as the batteries tend to become weaker. I am in love with the fact that the 18v batteries in my Ryobi products are interchangeable and the have just a long run time and short charging time. I will be buying a new Drill for my Birthday.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and exceptional power Purchased a combo kit in November, but never opened up the box until now. My older coordless b&d battery wouldnt hold a charge and wasnt about to purchase a replacement batt that cost half of this ryobi combo kit. So far after 3 days of using the new ryobi drill (installing cabinets) i cant complain. The battery just started to die. So for me thumbs up. Im going to buy the two pack asap. 60 bucks for two at HD!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick to charge up, Long lasting The Christmas gift I needed, wanted, and don't plan to return or exchange! I had a house-full of baby-proof door and cabinet locks to install. I had a cordless light-duty drill before, and the battery wouldn't last long enough to get through a project, and then the non-replaceable battery quickly got to the point on not holding any charge! So far I'm impressed with my Ryobi drills, and their battery packs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love the Ryobi One system. I began with a string trimmer, added the largest battery pair last December- sale, to finish med-lg. yard without needing a second battery. The compacts that came with the trimmer ran out with 20' to go. This year I added a combo tool set. Now I have a good assortment of battery sizes - big for duration, small for light weight and compact size. All batteries have met my expectations- no duds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ryobi knows what the DIY'er and pro needs! OK - so I have all these Ryobi Blue cordless tools sitting around, and the NiCad batteries are slowing me down a bit. So my son shows me how his new Compact Lithium-ion batteries can replace my Ni-cads. So I purchase 2 18V ONE+ batteries and a charger.. Now I can finish any project on ONE BATTERY! So I bought 2 more! So this DIY'er is a happy worker! Old guys CAN be taught new tricks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Batteries! Received the first Lithium-ion batteries with an impact driver three and half years ago and received another set one year ago with a multi-piece tool set. All batteries (even the oldest) charge quickly and maintain the charge for a long time. I get a lot of work done before it's time to swap them out. There's no comparison to my old tool set with Ni-Cad batteries. I'm very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Batteries, so far After way too much research I decided to switch all of my cordless tools to Ryobi ONE+. I was tired of all the different batteries sitting around taking up space and never having one charged when I needed it. ONE+ solved it all, one set of batteries always ready to go, and the tool inventory is growing slowly but surely. I just hope the batteries hold a charge for years to come...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good battery The lithium battery has made a whole new tool out of some of the cordless tools. I really like the way that I can leave a tool laying on the shelf for 3-4 weeks and it is ready to go without changing batteries or recharging. My circular saw and sabersaw only get used about once in one to two months. My question is why did this technoligy take so long to get to the consumer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best for the price! I purchased yet another Lithium 18volt battery. I wanted to have one more because of the amount of Ryobi 18 volt tools I have now. The usage life is competitive with any brand and the quick recharge time is outstanding! Add that to the fact I can now stick these batteries in everything from my drill to my weed eater, and I would recommend this purchase to any home craftsman.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GDO back up battery Recently bought this battery as back up power for my new RYOBI GDO, so far so good, the app says batt is completely charge. I currently dont own at Ryobi batt tool yet. But looking into getting some. Only wish they offered same Warranty are RIGID. Who knows time will tell. Wish the battery was cheaper since it doesn't have a live metter to see how much charge is left.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low capacity and operating life Does the job when fully charged, is affordable, and recharges very fast. But the big con is it really doesn't have much capacity, so the operating life is low (10min at the very most on a grinder or random orbit sander). Hard to finish even a small job on one charge. Would recommend buying a larger battery instead, unless you can charge the spare while you work

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall pretty good I've had these for about a month and have used them a couple times thus far in both the reciprocating and circular saws. They each lasted about 30 minutes or so of stop and go work. I wish they lasted a little longer but for the price I can't complain. Ryobi is definitely a great option if you are on a budget and the tools I've used are good value for what you spend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ryobi is the one to be all in with I've been adding to my collection of Ryobi tools. In my opinion, they offer the best in functionality to price. Once you get enough tools, you need more batteries. I picked up additional batteries a month or so ago and feel it was a great deal on something needed. They are easy to swap in and out so you are never out of power in the middle of a project. Great buy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from better charge time and light weight Been purchasing Ryobi for quite some time. First battery operated tool I purchased used NiCd batteries. These batteries were a lot heavier and took longer to charge. These new batteries, are awesome in that they're lighter and charge quicker. Plus, the amazing thing is they also power my older Ryobi tools. No neeed to go out and purchase newer models. Thanks.
