Rated 4 out of 5 by DonH from Very convenient and does a good job I've been polishing cars for over 50 years, and the worst thing is dragging the dang cord around behind you, having it get wedged under tires, etc. Being cordless makes the job 10 times easier! The random orbit and 10" head provide a perfect swirl free finish. If it had detachable pads that attach with Velcro like the new Ryobi PBF100B 5" polisher scheduled for release soon, I'd give it 5 stars. And I suspect when I get the new one, I'll likely say if the head was 10" instead of 5", it would also get a 5 star! Jeepers- yua can't win at this thing. But I have loads of the Ryobi 18+ cordless tools and love them all. Best value on the market!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Quaddad from Quick and easy to use Haven't polished my vehicles in years due to not wanting to spend so much time rubbing. Thought about this for several months then finally gave in and bought it. Surprisingly fast to apply and remove polish. I was able to completely polish my F150 truck and E150 van in under 20 minutes each. I also was able to finish each vehicle with 2 of the smaller 18v batteries. Very happy with this purchase. Bought an additional polishing bonnet to keep me moving from one vehicle to another. If the on/off switch was a little higher on the tool it would be easier to find without looking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Old West Man from A lot less to deal with I have always taken joy in caring for my vehicles. Though my GMC Suburban is 23 years old, it has held up quite well. The area that I have to park is quite some distance from an electrical outlet, so when I saw that Ryobi had this cordless buffer, I wanted to find out more, read the reviews and then make a decision. I am very happy that I did as the buffer is nicely balanced and easy to use. The price is great also. The only thing that I did not like and I think most would agree with me, they need to put a couple of more bonnets in the set. Your going to want to buff several things with this Ryobi, it is easy to use and work. Remember to use a good liquid polish and wax. Have fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hanse from A great portable buffer I purchased this Buffer thru Amazon a month ago. This is a great and powerful buffer. The fact that it is battery powered helps a lot. As you are not tied to a electrical outlet. With battery power you can use this buffer anywhere. I use mine a lot of time in locations where I can operate in the shade, where there is not a electrical outlet. I have detailed my own cars for 49 years now and owned many different buffers. This by far the best buffer I have ever owned. I purchased this buffer Because I own several reliable Ryobi products, and it is battery operated. In summary if you need a reliable and portable Buffer/polisher look no further. Buy this Ryobi and you will be very happy!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dirt Dog from My First Buffer I have several other Ryobi tools and have been satisficed with them. This 10 battery powered buffer proved it's use after just a few minutes. Not having the cord to deal with was a blessing. The liquid Turtle wax Ice product was the perfect combination. I picked up a couple of extra microfiber pads, one low and one high nap for the process and the results were very good. Saved a lot of time and improved the hand wax results. Nice job RYOBI.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mango123 from Why did I not get this before? After my 10 year old electric buffer bit the bullet, I bought this buffer yesterday and polished both our car and our truck. So easy, so convenient, so quick and dispute some of the reviews more than enough power using the 1.5 amp power source with only one battery charge. Between the tools Ryobi produces, at the price point they produce (always look at their promotions) and best customer service available (I received quick and complete customer service one time when I did have a problem on another item) I can not justify going elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Northern Indiana Mike from Nice Addition to My Ryobi Tool Box I was looking for a decent orbital buffer - and since I have a number of Ryobi One+ tools, the cordless option seemed like it would be worth trying. We started rubbing out a bumper surround by hand, but the surface area was just too much. The orbital sander was just the ticket for making fast work of the rubout and polishing and the results were great. I did end up purchasing several pad covers - it makes changing out easier and cleaner.
