Rated 5 out of 5 by J Diane from Easy to Use with a great battery This is the best hedge trimmer I have ever used. You don't have to worry about a cord getting in the way and the battery last a long time. I severely trimmed my shrubs into the woody part because they were over grown. The hedge trimmer handled it so well and it was easy with the rotating handle. Since I waited so long to trim my bushes, I am now going to go buy the Ryobi battery operated chain saw to cut the thick wood. I have attached a before and (so far) after picture for your reference. We cleaned up 3 small trailers of debris from the shrubs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AustinEd from Great for trimming vines, etc. I replaced a prior Ryobi trimmer that died after a lot of years of usage. Pretty much the same tool at least on the outside. Might have given this a 5 star rating but I was disappointed in the debris deflector. It simply slides onto the trimmer, which is fine but, when pointed downward, it also just slides off the trimmer. Would have been simple to put a notch or a screw to hold it. Not sure why that wasn’t done. Otherwise I’m happy with the run time with the larger One+ battery and cutting capability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by vwbuz from Powerful I bought this for overgrown shrubs coming through my fence. These are really thick bushes was thinking of a poll saw instead, but this trimmer is awesome. Was donein about five minutes on this job. Worked perfectly even got stuck on a couple pieces of lose wire. Thought I messed it up unlocked wire fired right back on and bam more wire. Untangled wire again and back in business. Really impressed, thanks for another awesome product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mary123 from I bought this product last week. I should have bought one alot sooner. I cut shrubs around the Pool and always uneasy of the electric cords all over. Thanks. I am a 70 year old Vietnam combat veteran and pulling around power cords, espectially around the pool is a real hazard! ps I also have the 18v weed wacker, two blowers and love them. I use the Batteries for all Thanks again

Rated 5 out of 5 by aromaticsky from Awesome and amazing! This little and light weight Trimmer tool is a gem to work with and even works like a gem! I had to try it to believe it and it’s true to its value! Trims cedar hedges (NOT their branches thicker than 3/4”) than like a charm! Remember, it’s a trimmer and does it’s job perfectly. It’s a keeper!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Magyar from Light weight and runs great. I own a number of Ryobi tools, so this just fit in. It's very light weight and easy to use. Two hands are required to operate it. (I imagine this is a safety feature.) One finger on the lever inside the handle and the other hand depresses the lever in front, on top of the handle. So, if you need a one handed trimmer, you may need a different model.
