Rated 5 out of 5 by JustJo from Much easier than using string We live in the country on 2 acres of land. The grass and weeds grow in thick, especially in and around the culverts. I attach the dual bladed trimmer head to each of my three 18V trimmers. I don't waste time stopping, removing the battery, turning the trimmer over, unclogging the guard or dispensing new line, and then beginning again. With the trimmer head in place, I attack weeks up to 3/4" thick without issue. And I don't have to worry about the blades getting tangled on any decorative wire-fencing. And install is a quick 15 second open the package, click it into place, & begin. No trying to thread the spool, or worry about it unraveling, or "Did I put it on backwards?". Just click and go!

Rated 3 out of 5 by marty3 from Disapointed I’ve used other Ryobi products and been pretty happy. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this head. It came as a set of two, which was fortunate. One of the heads would not stay attached and I gave up using it. The other worked fine but the blades dulled pretty quickly. The blades imply heavy duty, but they are not. You definitely have to take your time and not try to power through with these. Besides one not fitting correctly, my biggest gripe with this head is that it is mean to be disposable. You can’t replace the blades and have to replace the entire head when the blades wear out. That makes them very expensive greatly reduces the value makes it very difficult to recommend this product. I intend on seeing if I can Jerry rig something to be able to replace the blades. I think I can drill out the rivets holding the blades on and use nuts and bolts to attach new ones.

Rated 1 out of 5 by rnmj from Junk Two of these came with the trimmer the first one didn't fit very secure on the head so I used the second one fit but didn't last more than 15 minutes on high grass it flew of and I was unable to reattach it so, I replace it with the trimmer line that came with the trimmer, when using the trimmer the line kept advancing and it wrapped around the motor after all the line came out I noticed that the line advancement slider assembly was missing from my previous use of the plastic blades. Now they want me to pay for the replacement parts lost do to using those plastic blades. Lost parts aren't covered under warranty and my trimmer is useless. At least I can use the battery with the other 50 products that I wasted money on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Uncle Gary from BREAKS TOO EASILY Used once and it is now useless. Wore out while simply cutting long grass and milkweeds. Poor quality plastic that disintegrates when it hits ANYTHING.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Burley72 from Heartening Typically, when I make purchases of attachments for various tools (lawn, garden, shop), they don't live up to their claims and they have a short life. THIS WAS DIFFERENT. I snapped it on. It fit. No struggling. No endless attempts to make it fit. It snapped right on. AND, it stayed on! I've beat through some fairly heavy weeks on our farmette and it has held up without any damage. Nice to have the 2pk but wondering when I would ever have to use the 2nd one. Good show Ryobi. I have nothing but praise for your products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by jonm from cheap plastic This trimmer head with the 2 plastic blades is a piece of junk. I used it 1 time to edge the lawn and it wore out the cheap plastic blades within 15-20 minuets. This product is garbage. A waist of money. You better off to use the string.i think ryobi had a good idea here but much needed improvement. Blades need to be made much stronger to work more then once. Not worth the money for only 1 or 2 uses. Don't buy it !
