Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of Power! I got this to replace my gas mower. I’m tired of adding gas and changing oil and filters. My lawn is approximately 700 sg ft. I did my very first cut with the mower and it was easy to push, very quiet, and did a very nice even cut. Now I can mow the lawn without waking the neighbors and don’t have to mess with gas, oil, and tune ups. The power in the mower surprised me! The mower only used about 25% of the battery charge. I’m very impressed. Over the past few years I have replaced all my yard tools that were gas or electric and needed a lawn extension cord. Now all I have to do is keep up the batteries charged and slap them in place. I’m very impressed with all the Ryobi yard tools.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT MOWER I purchased this mower because I was sick and tired of gas, making sure I had some, draining last years out of the mower etc. Well let me tell you... My Ryobi cordless mower ended all of that hassle for me as well... I don't have to fight with extension chords either (unless i forget to charge the batteries). This mower is great for me... powerful enough to go through the long stuff... light enough to maneuver around gardens and other obstacles. The rear bag doesn't get in the way when you're mowing and has a big enough mouth to empty easily in to a brown bag for recycling. I'm very happy with this product and would highly recommend. Actually, I just purchased the hybrid trimmer too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected!! Just what I needed for front yard. Cut approximately 790 sq. ft., only took fifteen minutes has very good power makes clean cut. Charged batteries for three hours after cutting yard battery had two bars lit up remaining plugged into blower to clean up. Seemed to speed up or power up when I got to thicker patch of grass in shady areas of yard which caught me off guard, thought it only had one speed but it did it a couple of times. Not much rain in San Antonio lately but yard hasn't completely dried up but enough to give this mower a test run. It fits my needs for front yard mowing back yard is a bit more tougher terrain would hate to risk damaging mower on it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cuts Great! I bought this because I wanted to stick with the One Plus 18V system. This little mower has a good bit of power when first starting, but the 4Ah batteries only allow a small portion of the lawn to be cut. I have a smaller lawn than I had at my previous house so I thought I would give this a try. It cuts great until the battery runs down. I purchased extra batteries online that are 6Ah that allowed me to do more. It took me 5 battery changes to mow my front lawn and side lawn. I am pleased with the way it cuts, but wish the higher capacity 9Ah batteries were included with this mower to allow more mowing time per battery.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great mower but underwhelming batteries I got the trimmer and mower as part of the promotion and am very satisfied with the tools but Ryobi really cheaped out on the batteries and ruined what is otherwise a great product. I figured with the One+ HP branding of the tools that the package would include HP batteries that were up to the job but was disappointed after opening the box to see the cheapest batteries they offer included. These batteries seem like they would be great when used with Ryobi lights due to the low and slow draw but are not up to the job in a lawn mower. I didn't get anywhere near 40 minutes with both batteries and they were used in dry and warm conditions and the grass was by no means overgrown. Ryobi really should have included the One+ Lithium+ HP batteries in the 4.0 ah or more appropriately as others have pointed out included a One+ Lithium+ HP 9.0 ah battery so we could fully mow our lawn with just a single battery. Now I have to decide whether I should just return the mower and trimmer or spend another $120 (30% of the cost of the mower itself) to get a battery to make the mower usable. It seems crazy to me to have to spend more money a week after purchasing a new product just to get it to work as they advertise (40 minute run time)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As good as it gets !!!! I have a fenced in backyard with a garage and inground pool. This mower worked so well in this situation. I was pleased to see that it came with a bagger and made my work in my backyard from dreading it too looking forward to it. The assembly is very simple. It is very light weight. The battery life is tremendous. I no longer keep flammable gasoline in my garage nor do I have to change the oil ,put up with the noise or worry about it starting. This mower took care of all of that for me. This is the way of the future. It is as good as it gets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressive Results And Easy to Use What a wonderful surprise. This mower has a lot going for it. It is smaller and weighs half of my gas push mower, but it is very maneuverable and the mowing results look very good. The packaging is really good, and everything arrived in good shape. The mower handles fold twice for easy storage, and has a very convenient handle on top. The Operator's Manual covered the mower pretty well, but I don't think I got the right manual because it referred to a plug for mulching and there were no instructions for the grass catcher assembly. I didn't get a plug. I can imagine using this for my steep smaller front yard because of the quality results and light weight. The grass catcher bag is small and needs to be emptied frequently. The mower comes with two P197 batteries which gave me, at most, fifteen minutes run time each. I would recommend the HP+ batteries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new mower I received this new mower couldn’t wait to get home and use it (had to wait for the batteries to charge fully) I like that it passed my first MAN test( easy to assemble w/o reading instructions!) It took three fully charged batteries to cut my front yard ( I do have a large lot though and to be honest the grass was kind of high but it powered through) I came home the next day to cut the back yard ( even high grass and also a large lot) Well to my GREAT surprise MY WIFE had cut the grass, she said it looked easy to use and had given her a quick rundown of it the first day. I think I need the 40volt to be honest unless I keep switching out batteries ( I do extras) I believe this is a great mower for small yards It’s very easy to use ( my wife has never ever helped, so I was suprised!!)
