1700 PSI Electric Pressure Washer is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 624.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice unit Bought this unit after reading generally satisfactory reviews. Price was reasonable and wanted to avoid the hassle of having to store gas and change oil. My use is washing my mobile home in Florida where mold is a big problem on exterior. Also needed to remove mold from concrete driveway. Turbo nozzle is great for that but it started to become erratic in pattern after a couple of hours use. Still functions but may have to replace it. Hopefully Home Depot will do that at no charge ? Like the design of the unit. Low profile and wider base than other units I've owned make less tippy and easier to move around. Have had good results with Ryobi products in the past. Would have given 5 stars if the turbo nozzle hadn't been a negative in durability.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only had it for a year and it already leaks I bought this pressure washer last year. I barely use it. When I went to go use it this year, I got part way through a job and suddenly the sprayer wand started leaking. I tried to replace the small O ring in the wand, but that didn't fix the problem. It still leaks and will no longer build up any pressure. I am very disappointed in this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value. Purchased this unit about a month ago at Home Depot to replace a 10 year old Karcher (that was borrowed by family and never returned). Overall I think it's great, as I have done my deck (Trex) and my lawn furniture in prep for summer. It did a very good job and has sufficient power for this type of job and hopefully will perform well in cleaning my pontoon boat. I would have given it 5 Stars except the one feature my Karcher had that is sorely missing from the Ryobi is the soap dispenser; on the Karcher there was a separate button for applying soap and cleaner which was especially convenient for pre-soaking, but on the Ryobi you have to swap nozzle heads which is irritating. Not a deal breaker, but a feature I miss.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for the price I've owned several electric pressure washers but this is my first Ryobi. I have a ton of Ryobi tools that I love so I bought this pressure washer based upon the quality of their other tools I own. I was not disappointed. Easy to set up. Easy to operate. Performs well. And easy to clean up and store. The motor is also much more quite than other electric pressure washers I've owned, which is an unexpected bonus. I've used it for 4 times with a total operating time of about 7 hours. It has performed well and met or exceeded all my expectations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High power for small machine I bought this pressure washer to spray the exterior of our home and also to clean my cars. It has plenty of kick, and the nozzles provided give you several choices depending on what you're using it on. The highest pressure nozzle works well and cleans up the stubborn dirt and grime. You'll still want to use a brush like you would at a car wash to get set-in dirt. It is quick and easy to set up and works great for home use. Not a commercial grade item but great if you want to wash your car at home or clean your mower, bikes, tools etc!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ergonomic and and designed with simplicity in mind I really like how easy it is to operate. It's lightweight but powerful. I was very impressed with the power nozzle. It removed stains that others couldn't . Another super great feature is how it shuts off when you release the trigger. I researched the product on line and got great ratings, however my son recommended this brand. He has almost all of Riobi 's power tools.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid lightweight pressure washer for a good price I bought this a few weeks ago to power wash a house that I was going to paint. I didn't want to spend a fortune and I didn't want something big with a gas powered motor on it, and the extra maintenance that brings. This thing was nice and cheap for what I got. It had the pressure I needed, it's small (the handle can be removed so you can break it down to easily fit in a small car's trunk), it is very powerful (just as powerful as the old gas unit I used to have) and rather than dealing with gas, you just need an extension cord. I did use a 3/4 inch hose, but then I was using a 100 foot hose so I wanted the extra size just in case. But I never had any problems with the water feed. Definitely worth the money I paid for it. Very pleased with its performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love My Pressure Washer! I bought my 1700psi pressure washer about a month ago. I had no experience with or knowledge of pressure washers and debated about the purchase. I passed it by several times before deciding, at the affordable cost, it was worth trying. I'm so glad I made that purchase. I cleaned my brick walkway, brick and cement patio and terrace area, and my brick retaining wall, most of which are over 30 years old. They look almost as they did when new! I cleaned it all with water only, no soap. I cleaned several parts of my projects in one day. It took me about 8 hours, and I had no problems with the performance of the machine. I have since used it on my nieces house, and she is very happy with the results. I look forward to many more cleaning projects in the near future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact and Powerful Have had the sprayer now for a month - no issues so far. Minimal assembly (with no aggravation or conflicting instructions!) and it was ready to go. Light weight is the nicest feature noted at first. I like the compact design - does not take up unnecessary room. The spray nozzles are easily attached and removed. No more "push and twist" like I had to do with the "yellow" machines (which never seemed to last more than a season or two. The motor is extremely quiet and I think the spiral head powering water onto the metal cowling of my compact tractor is louder than the motor on this!! Provided this lasts more than 2 seasons in Northern NY (yes, it is stored 4-5 months out of the year) I will be very happy - especially seeing how it has a 3 year warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little machine! I bought this a month ago and have used it three times already. On the driveway, the deck and the boat. It's perfect, powerful enough to do the driveway but not too powerful for the boat and even the canvas boat cover. It's lightweight, easy to transport and seems well made. Great unit at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works like a champ I bought this in 2015 and it is performing perfectly. Great features; on board storage for nozzles, hose wrap, wand holster, soap dispenser, etc,... I went ahead and purchased extra spray nozzles and this power washer really performs outstanding results. The unit does not move around and tip over like other washers, it has a firm heavy base, yet the dolly system allow it to be moved with ease. It is perfect for cleaning your house, cars, fences, anything really for residential use. Highly recommend. Great product. A+

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely Designed I am a big fan of Ryobi tools. I started with a drill. Now, I have a hedger, pole saw, edger, leaf blower, tire pump, and now a pressure washer. Very happy with all. I love the fact that I don't have to deal with gasoline in any of them. When I let go of the trigger on the pressure washer, the quiet motor shuts off, then handily comes back on when I pull the trigger again. It's a very smart machine. It knows which nozzle is on, and only dispenses soap with the low pressure nozzle. It's doing great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to use! Bought this to clean mold from landscaping block. Worked VERY VERY well, taking out the tool and putting away is very easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I recommend it for non professional users This was my first pressure washer and it has worked great. Cleans siding, fence, concrete and even my car. My turbo nozzle broke and Ryobi replaced it in 5 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Right! I put this to work right away on my wood deck that was in desperate need of some TLC. I have used a gas powered pressure washer with more power in the past so I was prepared for a little disappointment. I was very impressed with this electric washer and got more than I expected. I love how quiet it is compared to the gas washer and I think the power is very close to the more expensive gas washer I had. I am so pleased to have decided to go with Ryobi, again. Ryobi has yet to let me down!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient I have had very good experience with this brand. I was attracted to this model in part because it is NOT top heavy and will not fall over as other pressure washers sometimes do. I bought an electric model because I use it infrequently, and do not wish to maintain another gas engine. I was a little concerned that the PSI was not as high as some models, however I've found that this model has all the power I could wish for. With the appropriate tip, it removes paint! Great for painting prep!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PLENTY O PRESSURE I HAVE USED THIS CLEANER MANY TIMES ON MY SIDEWALKS,PATIOS AND DRIVE WAY. THE PRESSURE AND PERFORMANCE IS VERY GOOD. I HAVE 3600 PSI GAS PRESSURE CLEANER, HAVE NOT HAD TO USE SINCE I HAVE THE 1700 RYOBI

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product! Wife and kids got this for me for Christmas and I am so pleased they did. Have already had a need and opportunity to use the machine. This is a good all around cleaning product. Because of the pressure and flow you cannot expect to cover large areas quickly like one might do with a 3000psi+ machine but the Ryobi 1700 psi machine will do the job you need with the correct nozzle. The nozzle selections provided with the Ryobi 1700 psi machine provide a good range of cleaning choices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from recommended electric pressure washer I bought this for general around-the-house use.... so far I have cleaned the gutters and windows, pressure washed the driveway, washed by utility trailer and both cars.... I have previously used gas powered washers, and the only shortcoming on this electric model is that it doesn't have enough pressure at more than a few feet for heavy duty cleaning- I wash my cars in less than half the time using a hose----- for an inexpensive general use washer you can't beat it for the price!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ryobi 1700 PSI Electric Pressure Washer I was initially thrilled with the product after 1st use. Second use, it would short power up but short circuit and stop. After taking it a good distance to the only authorized repair shop, they kept it a month then informed me they couldn't fix it and I needed to take it back to the store. Two more visits to the store and I finally have a replacement that is working great. Not a fan of the authorized repair services locations. Love the machine and happy to have a working one again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from only have had about a year and half only use to clean the pool deck 3 times and now is leaking a grey oil liquid from the bottom and the turbo head wont work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did the job it promised and MORE! This power washer was a god send for my dirty front porch...I felt like it completely altered the appearance of my home after one wash! What a great purchase!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Solid performance in a compact unit. I bought it a couple months ago to prep my patio for sealer. I worked great and I have found a dozen more jobs around the house for it. I should have bought it years ago. The soap nozzle is a little weak but most tasks have been better without the soap and just using the higher pressure nozzles. The turbo nozzle is great. Before and after pictures are amazing with the difference. I am am happy with the price and the performance to date. Using it weekly at this time. No issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of improvements since my last one. Had to replace a washer (Karcher) that had been through the wringer and finally gave up the ghost. Love the hose storage, low profile, little extra pressure and self storing tips. Also like that I can use my old wands if I need to. The only thing that seemed a little strange is that you hooked the water hose into the front and the high pressure hose came out of the back. Ended up dragging it backwards. I own several dozen other Ryobi tools and they've all been good to me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly What I Wanted! I had owned a competitor's product for a few years and was looking for replacement: I did some research on the Web. This Ryobi received glowing reviews and this did the trick for me. I have been using it to clean decks, do a soft wash of cars, and so far, all tasks have been done right. This Washer is easy to set up, it comes along nicely, doesn't tip over nor get messy and tangled up, problems I had encountered with the previous one. To sum it up, I'm glad I bought MY Ryobi!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for around the house I originally bought a craftsman 1800 psi pressure washer. I took it out of the box and it didn't work. I took it back and decided to try a different brand. I bout this Ryobi and I'm glad I did.. I use mine to clean my trucks and off road vehcicles and it works great. It does seem to want to turn off every once and a while but I'm still trying to figure it out. I have used it 3 times so far. I wish it came with more sprayer attachments. Over all it's a good washer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Electric Excitement! I have had this for a little over a month and I am very pleased with it. The electric pressure washer was easy to set up and run. I use it approximately one time per week, pressure washing my cars, fence and back porch. I had no experience with the pressure washer in the past. I read the manual and began using it like I had one for years. This is a great product that starts up every time and you don't have to worry about running out of gas. Ryobi has done it again!
