  • This tuned out great! The choice of stain is really beautiful, too. And very nice work on the hidden drawer. You should think about making another one for a complete set!

  • Beautiful work! The combination of the stained top and painted base look really nice. This piece looks like it will add a lot of warmth to the school office. Did you follow any specific plan?

    • Thanks! She really loved it. For this project I got a lot of inspiration from the longer versions of this table as well as other tables.

  • These two tables turned out really nice. It's great that you were able to find such a practical use for the materials you had on hand. The grill table will come in very handy-. Unless you have an outdoor kitchen set up, there's almost never enough counter space for grilling! Great work!

  • It sure is great to see all that RYOBI Green! You did a really top-notch job on this. Did you create your own design for this project?

    • I looked on the computer to get ideas about how to build a work bench, and kinda went with a combination of the stuff I found. Like most of my projects, (okay maybe all of them) I usually just wing 'em, lol, and as I go along I get more ideas and change the plans a few times

  • This turned out great! Another example of giving a purpose to available materials. Those tree-trunk legs are really neat too- we don't see many like those!

  • What a terrific idea! You really have an amazing talent for taking discarded materials and turning them into something totally new and useful. You did a great job on that finish, too. What a great job of distressing.

  • A beautiful turn out! The finish really turned out great- and it's neat that you mixed two stains to get this color. It's makes the piece truly one-of-a-kind. Great work achieving those tricky angled cuts!

  • What a treasure! (ha!) Really, this will be something your grandson will value for years. A beautifully crafted keepsake.
