  • Good work. Very nice looking bar.
By TheBusDriver, on August 17, 2016

  • This turned out great! Thanks for including the process pictures too- it's cool to see a project like this take shape. Did you use Quikrete for the counter top?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 17, 2016

  • Yes, used Quikrete Crack Resistant Concrete Mix. It called for the counter top mix, but couldn't find it in my area.
    By handy_jedi, on August 17, 2016

  • Awesome work. The dark color on the counter looks really nice too. Thanks for sharing!

  • Rustic and beautiful! It looks perfect for the room. That's a great choice of stain too!
By RYOBI Nation, on August 17, 2016

  • Thank You!! I like that color a lot too!! I use that color stain on a lot of my projects. The color is Provincial by Miniwax.

  • This turned out great! I like the stain color and think it gives a 'white wash' look.
By TC Builds, on August 15, 2016

  • Very Nice! Love Shanty2chic...check out Ana White too if you have not already! Awesome job!
By rchampine, on August 15, 2016
    • Thank You. Yea I've done some stuff from Ana White also. The porch swing project I have posted is Ana White plans.
By Stroope Reclaimed, on August 15, 2016

  • Awesome job in this! Thanks for including the picture of the crate too- it's cool to see where the wood came from and what you turned it into. The center X adds a really nice continuity to the over all look. Did you build it entirely out of wood from that one large crate?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 17, 2016
    • Thanks!! Yes it was built completely out of the wood from the crate and I also built my man cave end table that I have posted on here from the crate wood also.

  • Another awesome pallet transformation! This is a really beautiful design, and it looks fairly simple! Did it require more than one pallet?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 17, 2016

  • Thanks!! The design was fairly simple I followed plans by Ana White. It only took 1 pallet to cover the back and the seat of the frame.

  • Wow! This was quiet an undertaking, and it looks like you really nailed it. The vanity looks awesome! Did you build it for your wife once she designed it?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 17, 2016
    • Yes she found all the parts brought them home, and had me put the together
By gunnyj, on August 17, 2016

  • This is so awesome! This is the perfect addition to your man cave. The rustic finish looks just right and the stenciled logo is spot-on. (That's also a really cool looking TV stand you have there!)
By RYOBI Nation, on August 16, 2016
    • Thank You!!! The Tv stand was my very first pallet project a few years ago and I've been hooked using pallets and reclaimed wood ever since.
By Stroope Reclaimed, on August 16, 2016

  • Terrific work. Thank you for sharing this project with us!

  • A beautiful set! The choice of finish is great and the X designs of the supports adds a lot of nice texture to the overall look. Did you design these yourself?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 16, 2016

  • I found a similar set but different color and size at a high-end furniture store that was for sale that I loved, but way out of my price range. So, I just said you know, I'll just build some for myself, so I made it using my own measurements to fit my bedroom needs and chose Sunbleached stain from Varathane. I love the really bright gray color it left on the wood. I used almost all scrap wood that I had laying around to build these.

  • We love seeing DIY versions of furniture folks find at high-end stores. Those places are a treasure trove of ideas. Awesome work on these. Thanks for sharing!

  • Nicely done! This is simple and yet very functional!
By TC Builds, on August 15, 2016

  • This turned out great! The hairpin legs are a really nice touch, and it's great how your choice of finish completes the look without competing with the character of the pallet wood. You also are a very skilled photographer- your pictures are beautiful!
By RYOBI Nation, on August 16, 2016
    • Thanks, but I can't take credit for the pictures. My wife is the skilled photographer who took the pictures.
