  • Another awesome pallet transformation! This is a really beautiful design, and it looks fairly simple! Did it require more than one pallet?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 17, 2016

  • Thanks!! The design was fairly simple I followed plans by Ana White. It only took 1 pallet to cover the back and the seat of the frame.

  • Wow! This was quiet an undertaking, and it looks like you really nailed it. The vanity looks awesome! Did you build it for your wife once she designed it?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 17, 2016
    • Yes she found all the parts brought them home, and had me put the together
By gunnyj, on August 17, 2016

  • Team work! Very nice. Thanks so much for sharing the project with us!

  • This is so awesome! This is the perfect addition to your man cave. The rustic finish looks just right and the stenciled logo is spot-on. (That's also a really cool looking TV stand you have there!)
By RYOBI Nation, on August 16, 2016
    • Thank You!!! The Tv stand was my very first pallet project a few years ago and I've been hooked using pallets and reclaimed wood ever since.
By Stroope Reclaimed, on August 16, 2016

  • Terrific work. Thank you for sharing this project with us!
By RYOBI Nation, on August 17, 2016

  • A beautiful set! The choice of finish is great and the X designs of the supports adds a lot of nice texture to the overall look. Did you design these yourself?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 16, 2016

  • I found a similar set but different color and size at a high-end furniture store that was for sale that I loved, but way out of my price range. So, I just said you know, I'll just build some for myself, so I made it using my own measurements to fit my bedroom needs and chose Sunbleached stain from Varathane. I love the really bright gray color it left on the wood. I used almost all scrap wood that I had laying around to build these.
    By Linh87, on August 16, 2016

  • We love seeing DIY versions of furniture folks find at high-end stores. Those places are a treasure trove of ideas. Awesome work on these. Thanks for sharing!

  • Nicely done! This is simple and yet very functional!
By TC Builds, on August 15, 2016

  • This turned out great! The hairpin legs are a really nice touch, and it's great how your choice of finish completes the look without competing with the character of the pallet wood. You also are a very skilled photographer- your pictures are beautiful!
By RYOBI Nation, on August 16, 2016
    • Thanks, but I can't take credit for the pictures. My wife is the skilled photographer who took the pictures.

  • This turned out very nice! Color variation really highlights the bottom support structure, and the top looks like it will last for years. I saw a similar type table in the window of Pier One for something like $475. Nicely done!
By TC Builds, on August 15, 2016

  • This is very cool. I would love the pattern on how you made this ;-)!
By rchampine, on August 15, 2016

  • Awesome looking table! Made from one pallet-that is incredible.
By ChrisJW, on August 16, 2016

  • This is simply amazing. Esp to be made out of 1 pallet. I've seen pieces like this before that go for well over 500 bucks. I'd love to get the template to make one of these.
By Rcapps, on August 16, 2016

  • Such a cool idea! Love the two-tones. Really great job!!
By Maekellum, on August 16, 2016

  • Amazing! It looks like you made the most out of every bit of the pallet. It's especially cool how you maintained key elements of the pallet's original construction. Very nice work- you really knocked the Pallet Challenge out of the park!
By RYOBI Nation, on August 16, 2016
    • Thank you so much...! That means a lot! Does Ryobi pick the winners or do the votes?

  • This is awesome! If I understand the challenge correctly, this seems to be the only one that I've seen that's compliant to the rules set? I would love to buy this if it's available. Great job to the builder! You have my vote.

  • Hi, Epic WoodWorx! Essentially, as long as the structure's materials came from one pallet, they will generally be eligible for the Pallet Challenge. Paint, stain, lights and other kinds of decorative embellishments will not disqualify the project.
By RYOBI Nation, on August 24, 2016

  • Impressive Job. Love it

  • Hi, Epic WoodWorx! The winners will be the ones who stick to the material rules. Your project is a great example- built entirely from a single pallet, and painted/stained. Good luck!
By RYOBI Nation, on August 29, 2016
    • Ok, thanks! Also will the top 3 (easy, Medium, & hard)category that are entered in Pallet Challenge also be entered to win power of the people competition?

By RYOBI Nation, on August 31, 2016
    • So just like julys winners there will be 1 easy winner, 1 mediums winner , 1 hard winner, then that is all in pallet Challenge and then there is 1 power to the people winner is that correct....?
By Epic WoodworX, on August 31, 2016

  • This is such a cool and personal project! Your daughter must have been thrilled, and what great conversation pieces! This is definitely an inspiration-worthy project. It really shows how creative you can get with a pallet, tools and some paint. No doubt you'll be getting lots of requests for these down the road!
