  • This looks awesome! Thanks for sharing the process pictures, too. How cool to watch it's transformation from a basic frame to the final result. Great choice of stain, too. It's always great to see pallet projects that highlight the character of the wood. Did you have to do a lot to the wood to get it manageable?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 21, 2016

  • Thank you! Actually yes i did have to do a lot. It was all rough cut with a lot of nails throughout it. So making the wood usable, took the most time. I also ended up making her a matching oversized bookshelf to compliment the TV stand.

  • All the hard work definitely paid off. Great build!

  • Another amazing pallet transformation! Can you tell us more about that awesome compass design? It looks like you used a torch and paint?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 21, 2016

  • The compass itself is all hand painted. The color you see on top around the compass is all done with a torch. The rest of the table is all stained. The entire table is made out an oak pallet. So table is extremely heavy!

  • This looks amazing! Beautiful job on the table top especially. Did you create the design yourself?
By RYOBI Nation, on August 18, 2016
    • Yes I originally wanted to do it bread board style but not enough wood so this was my next thought.

  • This is such a great idea! The casters on the bottom are a perfect element of convenience! You don't have to lug it from place to place. The LEDs must be a pretty sight at night too. Thanks for sharing this with us!

  • Perfect way to fill that space! These look great. Did you sand the paint to get that distressed look?
