  • Such a cool build! Do you actually plan to ride this, or is it more of a decorative piece?
By RYOBI NATION, on July 30, 2018
    • Definitely gonna ride it. The grip tape is on and ready to roll.

  • Wow you definitely put a lot of planning into this storage solution! Thanks for sharing all the details and measurements with RYOBI Nation!
By RYOBI NATION, on July 30, 2018

  • Is the pegboard used as part of your storage part?
    Thanks
    By Lionhart09, on August 12, 2018
    • Good question - no, the pegboard is just a handy surface that I mount to, and of course, good for related items in my shop.  But the Ryobi tool storage I've made could mount on any wall. It's best to screw it into studs, and with 30" overall length, you should be able to land on 2 studs anywhere you want to put it- not necessarily centered over studs, either.

  • the painting, what kind of green is it?
    where did you buy it?
    By Tripulante69, on October 12, 2018
    • This is Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch spray paint+primer, Gloss Key Lime. I got it at Home Depot as a 2X ultra cover can.

  • Certainly a very unique table! What was your favorite part about this building process?
By RYOBI NATION, on July 30, 2018
    • I would have to say the favorite part was making this for my daughter and her boyfriend for their new house.
As for my favorite part for making this was the challenge of never making anything like this before and planning the project ahead of time to ensure the next steps were correct. The part on where I thought the table was going to be really nice is when the flood seal of the epoxy was able to cover the complete table, that itself was such a milestone on where you could feel the success of the project being achieved. What you will never see is the steel bar underneath the slabs of wood so they will never move.
