Wood Swing

I have never been what I call a handyman and the only tools I had were the basic hammer, drill, circulaw saw, and garden tools before 3 months ago. I decided to move my car out of the garage, and become a man! I went and bought some tools to get me started. After a weekend I completed my first project as a woodworker a work bench. 3 weeks later I completed my second project, a desk for my son's room. Low and behold my 3rd project was a bear for a novice like myself, but I only look at the big projects. My wife loves swings, and last year I bought one for her. 2 months later I fell through the cheap fabric, and threw it away. I am a man, and a woodworker now, I will make you one honey! After taking back a competitors saw, I got the necessary Ryobi 10 inch sliding miter to help complete the necessary cuts. 2 weeks from start to finish during the weekends, the swing is up and is a hit. I have made all of my skilled engineer neighbors very envious of how happy my wife and all of their wives are. I guess next step is too help the guys build them for their wives.
