Having piles of wood scraps spread throughout my shop made it difficult to find anything. The piece of wood I was looking for was always buried in a pile. The sloped bins allow pieces to be sorted by length and wood type.

I used my ONE+ Cordless Router and a straightedge to route ¾” slots for the the dividers. Having slots made it easy to fit everything together and I was able to leave the dividers that run sideways loose (snug fitting) so I can remove them if needed.

The bin is 24”w x 36”d x 36”h, with an extra 6” overhang at the back for storing large pieces. It works great for my small workshop in that it doesn’t take up much space and now I can quickly find what I’m looking for.
