These tables were made using recycled wooden cable spools. For the larger table, we took a nautical approach (we are in Florida), and wanted to use both darker stains and bright and vibrant colors. The table was finished off with rope to give it a nautical appearance. To balance the table, and make it sit level, we constructed small legs from recycled pallets. The smaller table was made by disassembling the original spool, and using repurposed metal legs from an old clay burn pit. The table top was torched and finished in a coat of amber shellac.
