Upcycled southern yellow pine, military ammunition crate, reinvented into a US flag display case. I reused the nails and screws removed from the crate to reassemble the case. The base resembles an ammo crate with hand etched Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) badge on the front glass. The inside is lined with blue felt and I incorporated the hinges and the hasp from the ammo crate on the back so you can access the inside. Complete with the original ammo seal on the back hasp. This flag case goes to auction in May to benefit wounded EOD warriors and their families. So not only did this crate serve them now it will be giving back once again.
