After building our home 6 ½ years ago, we realized that some design choices we made during the building process were, let’s just say, blah. In addition, I’ve never really been very good at home projects, but now that we’ve been in the house a few years I’ve become quite the “fixer-upper”. For this project, we replaced the standard tile and added a beautiful split-face natural stone.
Some of the challenges I faced was having the right tools to complete the project. Thank goodness Ryobi had the tools needed to make the job bearable, so I either purchased them or found friends who allowed me to borrow the tools necessary.
What surprised me the most is how quickly the project was completed. I really expected this to take weeks, but it took less than 2 days.
The reaction from friends and family has been extremely positive! They love the transformation and the warmth it has brought to that room.
