I started with a pile of double sided maple veneer pieces some 4' X 4' some 2' x 1'. I decided on a Gothic theme. What I did was well kinda like window's from the king author Era or at least my interpretation of some of them looked like. I just had fun and used odd ball stuff to make the arches and window's. I cut down solid maple 1" X 4" back splash for the small window frames and iron gates on the top book shelf. Unfortunately my ex girlfriend took off with my 2 towers which I am having a problem sourcing the veneer to rebuild along with health but I am determined to replace them I will update soon with the desk when I free it up and add those pictures soon.
I hope that everyone likes what I have done it would be good to hear what you think.
