I made this tool box from cypress left over from another project. The handle is a crape myrtle branch. I use crape myrtle branches for a lot of my projects. The branches are strong and hold the bark well. I finished it with tung oil. The pulls on the drawers are black walnut inserted in a dado routed into the front of the drawers. I used a forstner bit to make the recess for the drawer pulls.

  • I would love this tool box. I live in a condo and not much room. I don't have a garage either. So a great tool box like this to store a lot of my tools in one place would be great. Easy to carry around with me while I am working on my project.

  • This is fantastic!! Do you have building plans for this toolbox?

    • I made this from plans in Woodsmith Vol. 38/No. 225. I made a few changes to the plans such as the draw pulls.
