I built this 6’x14’ bridge over a small stream on my property using 4”x6”x14’ beams and 2”x8”x8’ pressure treated boards. The wood was cut to length by Home Depot and I was able to carry it, a few pieces at a time, by lashing it to the top of my UTV. The hard part was getting the 4x6s leveled across the stream and side to side. The ONLY tool used to assemble the bridge was my trusty 18-volt Ryobi drill armed with a 4ah battery. I took two extra batteries to the site but never needed them. The entire bridge was assembled (using 3 1/2” deck screws) with ONE fully-charged 4ah battery! That’s 115 very long deck screws driven into very tough treated wood with ONE battery! Amazing performance!
