I repurposed a 60+ year old solid teak swim platform from an old boat into a bench for our back yard pool area. It took extensive work with my Ryobi belt sander, orbital sander, saber saw and router to bring the teak back to life. Also built my own steamer and bending form to curve a 9" tall cut off section into a curved back rest. I have pictures of the entire process.
