"Star Trek" bed

My husband wanted to build our boys a bed that was out of the ordinary....Where no boy has gone before.
He spent his evenings putting together this bed under lock and key. They were surprised, and have had many adventures out in space. We have our very own crew to discover the universe.

In the inside thereis a toy box, a space for a twin mattress, lights, and a control panels. The warp nacelle pulls out into a twin size bed, and also another toy box....can a boy have too many toys?

  • It is very cool! I am sure my son's head will explode with some of the creations he thinks of! He also did the princess bed, just a few photos above this. Of course - that's not all! Thank you all for your kind comments! There are a lot of very wonderful DIY projects on this site.
