I have next to no experience in carpentry besides the hand me this tool or that tool. My little girl, hasn't had her own room for the past 3 years. Well I recently moved and now she does. But the roof was over due, it leaked and damaged one wall and the floor. The roof was fixed, I had to remove the wall, and the floor due to rot and water damage. I replaced both. Then I had to insulate the two walls I gutted. I replaced all the outlets. Sheetrocked what needed to be. I taped the room, thin coats I learned in the end! My 6 year old picked out her pink and purple paint. I primed the room and then my kids helped paint. I put up the moulding and baseboard. The other night with tears in her eyes she was able to sleep in HER room. All the sleepiness nights, blood, and sweat were well worth it to this beginner.
