A local salvage store had a cedar playhouse for sell. It was missing parts to actually make the play house. So the normally $500 playhouse was for sale for $40. I will post what the box of parts looked like. I brought it home with absolutely no idea what I was going to do with it but I would do something. With no experience in woodworking only a dream of what could be, it began. So I sorted it out and started brain storming. I ended up building a side table with a functioning compartment for my front porch out of the kitchen window and a few 1 x pieces from the box. Then I built a hinged box to hide my laundry detergents on the laundry room shelf out of part of the side walls. Then I built a storage cabinet for my work shop with part of the roof and the side walls with little windows and the entry door. I thought a lounger for the back deck would be great out of part of walls. Then I build a large dog house for our Golden Retriever using the scalloped roof sides and some scrap lumber that was given to me.
