I made this gorgeous desk from 3/4 in. solid premium walnut and beautifully sealed it with seven coats of tung oil. (I'm going to apply a beeswax polish soon too. Legs and supports are made with galvanized flanges, fittings, and piping for an industrial look, and I also used walnut accents for the feet. It's lightweight and easy to transport. Tug oil is food-safe, so we don't have to worry about chemical transfer when we have food near it. Or if we decide to use it as a vanity, we don't have to worry about chemicals next to toiletries either.

Easy to maintain, and it's built to last. Water just beads off of it. I've also seen people use these as computer desks and stands for their record players, so I thought I'd make my own designer. The caps on tabletop can be unscrewed if we decide to add piping or hooks. We can also use the caps to secure corded accessories and laptops/tablets.

Total height: 32 in.
Tabletop surface: 34.5 in. x 16.5 in.
Shelf height: 6 in.
