I made this table for my fiancée out of prime pine. I wanted to make it out of mahogany and maple but don't have a jointer or planer. Hardwoods are limited and expensive at big box stores. It did turn out well though.

  • Try local hardwood lumber stores. Mine will even rip and plane for you. Beautiful work. Obviously you enjoy the finishing, and you're good at it.

    • Thanks. My closest hardwood lumber yards are Rockler and Woodcraft in Orlando, about an hour away.
