This is a nice easy project to utilize the "useless" space between the fridge and counter. If you have adequate space this is a great little project.
I measured and cut the wood as needed (2 @66", 2 @ 30", 3@ 28.5")
Each piece was sanded and stained before assembly.
I used #6 x 1.5" screws. Predrilled a pilot hole so the thin wood wouldn't split. I also put a wee bit of wood glue at each point for added durability.
Once the frame was all together I cut the pegboard to size for the back. This allows for some hanging storage for our commonly used cooking utensils.
I used staples to attache the pegboard to the frame.
I installed four 50lb casters to the bottom of the frame to allow the spice rack to slide in and out from between the fridge with ease.

  • Love this! It's so great to find a way to utilize that space. Looks like you'll never have to hunt for spices in a cabinet again!
