Sliding barn door bathroom cabinet

My wife always wanted a sliding barn door in our house but none of the doorways will accomodate it. So when I remodeled the bathroom and found this project on Shanty2chic I had to build it for her. It was a perfect fit and I got to use a new paint technique to give the wood an aged look. First I built the cabinet, then stained it with ebony stain. Then I use petroleum jelly on some of the edges and parts of the shelf and then brushed on some Elmers school glue, working in sections so it wouldnt dry to fast. Once it got tacky (about 2 mins) I painted the white paint over top and used my heat gun to form the cracks.
It came out better than I thought and my wife is very happy with it!
