This is a great way to avoid having to pick up train track all the time. The base is 1/8 hardboard (like pegboard without the holes) and MDF 1" x 2" for the supports. The track is glued down. I say this is an easy project being that you can easy cut the frame and support with a hand saw and the hardboard can be cut with a utility knife. And it sites on 2 crates form the craft store that double as storage.
