I made this for a friend. I used ¼” plywood scraps to determine layout. For the final material I used a 1x4x6’ Maple board and ripped it into 2 strips. The wider strip is about ⅜” wide and is used for the outside frame, and ¼” wide strips used for the inside dividers.
My friend lives out of state so I built a simple 2x4 box the size of her silverware drawer as a build guide.
The sections fit in place using a dado cut and then glued together once complete. A ¼’ piece of Maple plywood is used for the bottom.
